"Excellent AC in room. Room described on here as "sea view" turns out to be "partial sea view", which is the description used on the hotel's own website. Staff very good, especially in restaurant which has a separate vegan menu with some good options. Some evidence that maintenance has suffered, such as a missing tile on pool and water leaking through to children's pool. Water leaking from toilet handle in room. Signs direct to a spa that no longer exists."
Imperial Riverbank Hotel Kuching

"Location right next to the riverfront, though no river views rooms available. Some staff were very helpful, some more apathetic. Price is reflective of what you get and amenities were adequate for a short stay. Beds in a twin room were large and fairly comfortable. Some towels were threadbare, others were fine. Breakfast is average. One factor we did not take into account was the loud road noise during the night. Thin glass windows meant the sound carried. Motorbikes and hotted up cars like using the main road as their own personal speedway between 2am and 4am. Not the hotels fault of course, but maybe a more upmarket place has better soundproofing?"
Sheraton Kuching Hotel

"The infinity pool and gym opening hours were exceptionally good as was the food! Also, I was allowed to check out at 1pm."
One Point Hotel - RH Plaza

"Competitively priced closed to shops and hawker market for good food. I had no blanket and tv did not work. It was a room for the night I needed and checked in just before midnight. Life saver."

"Absolutely perfectly located property, with easy access to transport, food, museums and the shop houses etc. "
Merdeka Palace Hotels & Suites

"We stayed at Merdaka for 7 nights and the stay was alright. The first 2 nights was given the road facing room and the windows were not sound proof. Complained about it and the staff was accommodating and changed my room. The hotel is a very old one and not very well maintained. The sheets had stains and bathrooms were old and moldy. The only positive is the staff there are very helpful and polite."

"Well placed hotel for walking to many places in Kuching. The complimentary breakfast is Spartan but there are many eateries for breakfast close by. Nice pool."
Pullman Kuching

"The professionalism of the staff aligned with the quality of the property and delicious room service menu choices; top-notch! There was some construction going on that we only barely heard once for about 10 minutes. Bonus: my family of three where two of us have wheelchair needs, we found the food court, spa services and convenience store on the property to be very comfortable and convenient. We plan to visit frequently just to order take out from their devine chef and his signature cheese and fries! "
