When we arrived at our Hotel, it was closed for renovations, but were directed to the sister hotel around the corner, which was more upmarket and offered a room that exceeded our expectations. The Dee Andaman is more of a traditional hotel with exposed beams and a decor to match and the most friendliest staff. The hotel is slightly out of the main township, but the free shuttle made up for it, running regular drop off and pick up service to the town centre, which I must say, caters for the locals and not so much for tourist. Most tourist gravitate to Ao Nang, but it was a little disappointing with what it had to offer. Local busses are available at the top of the short road. This hotel is in a quiet location (no road noise) and would recommend it for a relaxing break. Except for the last day, they offered free ground coffee, excellent.
