The most outstanding hotel I have ever been to. My girlfriend and I traveled out of the country for the first time and found this incredible hotel through Expedia and loved the week we had.
The location is right on Lambi beach where you can just walk over the road and you are on the beach. Breath taking views across the Mediterranean along with a view over to Bodrum just six miles away by boat.
30 minute walk or 5/10 minute drive in to Kos Town itself you will see the gorgeous harbour along with the fortress which for €3 to walk around is well worth with great views and interesting history. A short stroll will take you around to the marina to see even more boats for the sailor in you.
Aqua Blu itself was just simply stunning, clean, wonderful staff, exquisite food for all to indulge in. Elegant bar, beautiful pool area and truly a fantastic place to relax.
Curvee restaurant is expensive but crucially has to be done!
Aqua Blu is an absolute must!
We had a lovely week here the reception staff were extremely helpful in overcoming a difficult situation with regard to having a walk in shower for an elderly lady travelling with us we can't thank them enough. The bar staff and restaurant staff were all lovely Plenty of choice of lovely food. The animation team work extremely hard and do a wonderful job. Overall the Hotel does all it can to make the holiday very enjoyable. The best rooms are the pool suites and the seafront suites.
When we arrived late at night, we were exhausted and half asleep. We checked in at Reception, which was quick and effortless. They actually told us we had been upgraded to a better room, one overlooking the sea. We then left our bags with reception and had dinner in the main hotel, which was amazing. We then took a buggy down to our room and found our many bags were already there. The rooms were breathtaking, very spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and had fresh towels already laid out, the fridge was stocked with cold drinks and the beds were made. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well at night. In the morning the sun rises over the main hotel and we had a beautiful view of the sunset from our balcony. Depending on your location it can be quite a hike up to breakfast but it's worth it as the food is 10/10. We were very impressed by the standard in the main restaurant, which is self-serve. They have a huge variety and even the most fussy eater would find something they like. The kitchen and bar staff were incredible and very kind.
There's always something to do, we were certainly never bored. During the day you can eat and drink in any of the 11 restaurants including a pastry corner, a sushi restaurant and a floating island bar. The beach is also very nice although it was a bit crowded and there was alot of litter. There are around 15 pools (all of which are saltwater), and every one of them was big and not too deep, about 1.5m.
We had a brilliant holiday and I have no criticisms about the hotel and the staff. If you want to explore on foot outside the hotel area then you will find it is along way to any villages etc.
We were on a relaxing break so stayed at the resort and were not disappointed.
