So bad I left after an hour
Room was dirty, shower falling out of the wall, sheets dirty, WiFi hardly worked. Room smelt of mould. Loose wires hanging out of the ceiling, air con barely worked. Pool full of leaves, nice view tho. Mozzies everywhere. I did not stay, probably forfeited my money but my health is more important. Can't believe the price for the sun standard. Was basically told bad luck by reception staff

Close to Beach
Our stay in this hotel was ok. The rooms were pretty small but comfortable enough for the price. The pool was ok but the bar never seemed to be open nor was the massage area. The biggest disappointment was the bed bugs which the hotel must have been aware of because Rentokill were spraying the outside areas on our 2nd last day at the hotel but we weren't advised of this & who knows what chemicals we were breathing in as the bathroom only had fly wire over the windows & no glass.

Hotel in need of refurbishment.
Did not enjoy staying here, would not recommend.first room we were given smelt old and musty and air conditioning unit smelt aweful.second room was slightly better, bed linen smelt musty, shower was useless.pool was nice and breakfast was good but restaurant was only open for breakfast, bar was never open.

fantastic beachfront location
The hotel is located between the main road and the beach so access everywhere was good The room was comfortable but nothing special. The bathroom was very average with a super low flow shower head which flooded the bathroom when turned on The breakfast was a big disappointment with a very limited range of both cooked and cold food. Guessing which cold drink was which was a lucky dip with a usually unlucky outcome. On the bright side the staff were very friendly and always had a smile and greeting

Lumpy, hard and well worn.
A very tired property - and the mattress was terrible (even when compared to other Thai 3 Star hotels). Well located on the beach in BoPhut - nice relaxed beach and reasonable pool. Breakfast was not great, and the English skills of some restaurant staff were below the norm for Thai tourist hotels. We didn't try the restaurant for other meals. Overall - probably fair value for the price, noting the location. (But not if a comfortable mattress is important to you.)

Excellent hotel. Wonderful location, right on the beach. Beautiful pool and restaurant by the pool with lovely food. Plenty of water activities to choose from at the beach. Good location near the village. Friendly staff and nice clean rooms.

Wonderful break
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed on arrival with a fruit juice. Staff arranged hire of a scooter for us which was the same price as hiring from elsewhere but no need to leave your passport - which was good. Our room was comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. Air conditioning, tea and coffee, fridge, good shower, large bed which we found comfy. The breakfast was good and the staff made fresh omelettes/scrambled egg/pancakes on waffles on demand. Pool was great and cleaned every morning. Location brilliant - right on the beach at Bo Phut and in a nice quiet area, but within walking distance to fishermans village. The Friday "walking street" market was great and we tried a lot of the street food there. The hotel drinks were reasonably priced and we ate several times in the restaurant. All of us enjoyed our meal. The view was beautiful from the terrace, where you ate - lovely in the morning. Sunrise is worth getting up for as the sun rises opposite the terrace - beautiful. The hotel had a massage service and this was good and reasonably priced too. We had no problems with this hotel and would be happy to stay here again. It was great value for money, not 5 star luxury, but if you want a clean hotel, with good facilities in a nice area without spending the earth then we would recommend. We were sad to leave here after spending two weeks. Staff also gave us an early morning wake up call and arranged for our taxi to the airport

Some good points but overall would not stay again.
Hotel/resort right on Bo Phut beach (on north coast of Koh Sumai). 2 pools with cabin/bungalow style rooms. Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful. They were good at booking us day trips and you can book a scooter through the hotel without needing to hand over passport which was a plus. Nice 15 minute walk along the beach to the fisherman village area with losts of food places and a nice cocktail beach bar. This seems to be Russian hotel chain as there was an entry sculpture shaped like the top of a Russian building and the clocks behind reception showed the time in Bangkok, Antalya and Moscow only. There also seemed to be alot of Russian people staying at the resort. We did meet a nice friendly young Russian couple who shared some Thai whiskey with us. Staff were slow to clean lots of large insects which fell into the pools the night before. Manager walked around in shorts/tshirt and trainers. Bedroom was a little dated (hotel was built in 1997 i believe). Also bathroom was seperate with glass free window which meant little insects could get in. The bathroom felt unclean (grout was moldy) and needed redoing. For this reason I would not stay in this hotel again.

Little Piece of Paradise
I wasn't feeling well during my stay so I wasn't able to enjoy this place to its full capacity...but what I did experience I loved. The staff were very helpful with all my queries and requests. I loved the beach side massage service. So cheap and since I was there in the down season, it was never busy. The morning breakfast is great. Big spread and even a station where you can have waffles, crepes, or eggs made for you. The pools are nice and well-maintained. The beach is nice too, water a bit murky compared to other places but it felt very private and the proximity from the cabins was a huge plus. I enjoyed the restaurant too, though there are plenty of other places nearby to choose from if you want to switch it up. My only comment is that it would be nice if there was an option to eat indoors some of the time, as the mosquitoes can get quite bad, but this seems to be the general trend in the area. Overall, I would definitely come back here.

Great experience and lovely resort. Lovely pools and beach front access, only a 15minute walk to Fishermans village along the beach. Breakfast every morning was great, eggs tailored to your taste and crepes and waffles to order. Staff were efficient and really friendly and I would certainly stay there again if I'm lucky enough to visit Koh Samui again.
