Close to the events I was attending and walking distance from various restaurants.
The hotel is below average with not so friendly front desk lady. The room had that musty smell, beds were uncomfortable and the sink was backed up.

Property was located close to I 75.

Room was clean. I did not request a handicapped room but was given one so that is an option. Breakfast was 630am-930am. Scrambled eggs,sausage,buscuirs and gravy. Waffles, cereal, yogurt,bagels and toast. Let them know if you require housekeeping during stay.

Excellent location for our needs. We were visiting the Knoxville area for medical reasons and the hotel was only two miles away from the large medical center. Tons of upscale restaurants that are walkable from the hotel. Large Regal movie theater only 3 miles from hotel and lots of shopping. The price was excellent and we were able to bring our pets without an added charge. This was a plus!!! Most of the hotels in the Knoxville area and close by like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg charge as much as $50 per pet per night. Ridiculous! Red Roof charges $0. Hot breakfast in the morning, clean facilities, and a pleasant lobby area with adjoining breakfast area that overlooks a pretty courtyard area with pool. A great value!!!

After all we are just human?...
The location and price was great. The staff was very courteous. Even breakfast was decent. But the cleanliness is a whole nother issue. There were left over food in the frig and the ice bucket had not been empty after the last occupant. The soap dispenser was empty too. There wasn't any carpet which was a great thing but it also shows where the cleaning if at all is in the middle of the room. After dropping something on the floor, I glanced under the couch, there was a soda bottle and lots of dust bunnies under there. I am positive at some point a smoker had been in the room. I did speak to the gal at the check in desk, she noted it with her response was Well, we are just human....

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay here. We booked a last minute room and were looking for something low cost. Our expectations weren't super high considering the low price however we were very pleased when entering the hotel. The lobby has been renovated and was very nice. The room itself was also renovated and comfortable.
There was a good hot breakfast, with biscuits gravy eggs cereal yogurt bagels sausage and waffles.
The only thing we could really suggest would be a tad more attention to detail as our bathroom could have been slightly cleaner and the front desk lady that checked us in wasn't the most friendly. But otherwise this hotel is an excellent choice if you want a clean hotel on a budget and in a good location.

No bed bugs so that’s a plus. The smell of the entire hotel was really musty. The bathrooms had mold, mildew and dirt. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again I’ll just say that..
