We had a fabulous time at the Dean Park Hotel when we were visiting family in Kirkcaldy and Burntisland. The room was large and very clean with excellent amenities. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the food and service was excellent. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. We'll be staying with you when we are next in the Kingdom of Fife!

In total £130 for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast in a very clean modern hotel with staff who always had a smile on their face, even at 8.30 on a Sunday morning. If we are in the area again we will be back for some more tasty, good quality food.

Only plus about this stay was the room was clean and modern decor. Check in provided next to no info about check out, breakfast etc. Room key didn’t work so another trip to reception where they managed to sort it thankfully. TV didn’t work all night, nor did the wifi. Most disappointing part of the stay was being kept up till 1am with music blaring from the Christmas party downstairs. No pre warning of this on check in. Whilst around this time I appreciate xmas party season is in full swing, I don’t expect a hotel to have music that loud till 1am without even letting guests know, this is unusually late for a hotel from my experience in working at many a Christmas party over the years. 11-12 could have been a little more acceptable!! On check out we were asked if all was okay with the stay and we provided feedback regarding the clean room but not a great stay due to the noise and the lady on the desk simply shrugged. Maybe don’t ask for feedback if you’re not prepared to even apologise for the disruption. Unfortunately would not stay or recommend in future regardless of how nice the room itself was.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel slept really good very quiet and would stay here again. The room is clean but some dust on mirror and there marks on white paint and one of windows looks like its broken because would not open and handle looks like going to break off but that did not effect my stay and room looks really tidy and warm and cozy to stay in. Plug sockets next to bed and tv in front off the bed 5 dont like having plug sockets so fair away from beds. Was in single room.

What a fantastic place, recently modernised, rooms are clean, comfortable and have all you need (even shortbread). What sets this apart from other hotels is the superb service and can do attitude of the staff. *Breakfast very good* **Slept like a log BTW**

Old property very nicely upgraded to provide deluxe accomodation, 2 restaurants in a quiet setting with easy access to the Forth Road Bridge to the airport and Edinburgh. Staff are friendly and very competent.

THE WHOLE PLACE IS JUST OOZING QUALITY. I BOOKED A SINGLE BUT THE BED WAS SOOO BIG AND COMFY. I HAD A GREAT BREAKFAST AND THE BLACK PUDDING WAS TO DIE FOR.(I HAD SECONDS) THE STAFF WERE ALL VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. There was at least one wedding in full swing when i arrived. Dj was playing full on dance tunes with bass lines. Was led to room 31, right above that dance floor! The bass line penetrated the whole room. The clothes hangers were vibrating in the wardrobe. I thought if i put on the tv it will drown it out and i can sleep. Tvs had a volume limit and i could not hear any dialogue over the basslines. After an hour of this i was losing my mind. I was jet lagged from my flight and just wanted to sleep. Phoned zero for reception in the hopes of some ear plugs but no one picked up. I got dressed and left room. Could see the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls right next to reception and men from the weddingreception were in the bar so didnt feel i could speak to reception. The bride, who looked stunning, shouldnt have any negativityon her special day which she'd probably spent a fortune on - not her problem! Anyway, there was no one at the desk, they.were in the bacK. EXPEDIA emailedeaboutexperience and room impression. I shared my experience. They said management would be informed. I phoned reception again. No one picked up. Not surprised as reception right beside noisy dancefloor and staff were in the back room. At midnight music stopped. I was so wound up abd overtired i didnt sleep until 2. This cant be news to The Dean Park Inn. They know where their rooms are. If a theatre has to advertise seats as restrictive view, a hotel shoukd let you know - room is above a dancefloor!

Amazing stay
We travelled from England to attend my cousins wedding in Cowdenbeath, and the hotel was really nice looking, lovely grounds, really friendly staff, breakfast was amazing. The water pressure coming out of the bathroom tap was a little on the dismal side but thats the only negative.
