Killin Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The hotel was fine. Killin is a difficult place to get to if you aren't driving (and it's on a Sunday). The hotel wouldn't help us book a cab from the bus stop that was 3 miles away and a walk on a two lane road with traffic both ways and no sidewalk. We managed it but I would not recommend. Perhaps they don't have enough taxis there but even as I asked multiple times the only thing they told me was that they wouldn't book taxi service for guests. So, a learning curve. The hotel itself was fine. No early check in and they just put your bags in the open lobby if you want to drop them off and leave. I would likely pay a bit more and stay elsewhere next time."

"Stunning location, attentive staff and beautiful room. Dinner in the Brassiere was exceptional with the most amazing steak. Spa facilities were good and spotless. Great breakfast selection and prices in the bar were very reasonable. First visit but we will be back."

"From check in right through to check out the staff were excellent. Fonbas Suite was lovely and comfortable with views to dream of. Sitting room upstairs was very well stocked for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Milk and bottled water also supplied. Bedroom was very comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was buffet style but had a plentiful supply of hot foods. Bar was busy and entertainment on the friday night. The hotel has had a lot of cosmetic decor changes too. As always we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A place to relax and enoy yorself in lovely surroundings. The gardens are beautifully maintained."

"We only state for one night, but we found this place comfortable, spacious, clean, and quiet. Situated on a beautiful lake, it would be a lovely place to hang out for a while."
Westlands of Pitlochry

"We had the best time at The Westlands and hope we can come back soon. The hotel location is excellent. There tons of things to do within a 3 to 5 minute walk. You even have the entrance to a trail right across the street, if you want to run or ride a bike. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Rooms have been beautifully renovated recently and are quite spacious."
Moness Resort

"Moness was a an overnighter which looked cheap and cheerful. I booked 2 twin rooms. Both were immaculate, well equipped and stocked with toiletries. We had dinner in the dining room. Really good food and not extortionate for a hotel. Breakfast was again very good. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool sadly as we had other commitments but very pleased with the stay. Would recommend"
