Wonderful feel of seclusion and amazing views. The staff was amazing and made sure our stay was great. Great access to the Routeburn track.

Loved the room. View was incredible! Dining options limited but what’s available is good. There are a lot of sand flies in the area so be cautious of how you dress!

Gorgeous stay and friendly staff. Catered to our dietary needs. Comfy bed and all the amenities you could need, plus - the view! Amazing, quiet, peaceful, lovely getaway.

We stayed at Ecoscapes for one night, and that was not nearly enough time. We checked in and were immediately made to feel at home. The owner made us feel special and provided us with fresh cream for our tea and coffee for the morning. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My only regret was that we could only spend one night. Amazing!!

We had an amazing stay at Ecoscapes. Toni is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented. Overall its a very unique experience and is highly recommended

One of the most unique places we’ve experienced and stayed in NZ. Just amazing. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. I’m loathed to write this review as more people will then uncover this place (!) but truthfully it’s next level and very cool.

We couldn’t fault ecoescapes. We had the most relaxing stay in the most devine setting and accommodation. Highly recommend for those needing to get away from the busyness of life and relax. Such a special part of the world. Thank you Toni and John for making our trip so wonderful. We will be back .

We've been traveling around NZ for three months and this was among the more expensive but the worst we've encountered. It consists of two cabins which are wedged between the owner's hotel (Kinlock hotel) and their house. There is little privacy (owners can see you from a few meters away if you're on your terrace or in the jacuzzi) and no landscaping (you're between an unkempt garden and their house with personal effects such as a lawnmower, cages etc). The food was terrible (all frozen / reheated) but it's far from anything else. The

We loved it here!
Beautiful experience at Ecoscapes! We loved the tranquility of being in a slightly more isolated location (but not too difficult to get to, a quick 1.5 hour drive from Queenstown). The property is perfectly situated to enjoy views of the sunrise and sunsets. Breakfast is included and very substantial. Overall really great place to stay if you really want to get away from people! We stayed two nights, which was perfect for allowing some time to explore the hiking options nearby.

Awesome Cabin!
It was perfect! Friendly staff, beautiful view, awesome little home! Definitely was a Christmas to remember in the cute little town of Kinloch.

We will be back
Staying at Ecoscapes was a one of a kind experience which I can’t rate highly enough. So much care and thought has gone into the comfort, presentation and additional extras to make this place such a unique holiday experience. The luxurious and comfortable bed looks through a large window with breathtaking views of the mountains and lake along with a reading/nook bench at the end of the bed to also take advantage of this vista. There is full screen projector with access to Netflix and a speaker with ‘cinema like’ sound that can be watched in bed or from the nearby lounge for those times when it’s raining or you just want to relax. Breakfast was included and there was a choice of many yummy options. We also tried dinner one night, which was a 3 course meal and this was also fantastic. Thanks for an amazing time!

Amazing stay at Ecoscapes
Toni and John were amazing hosts. They made sure everything was perfect for our stay from before we arrived to the morning before we checked out. Ecoscapes was just as we had imagined, really clean, eco friendly, quiet, private, comfortable. Would highly recommend if you are after a nice getaway near Queenstown.

Totally recommend if you are wanting to relax, you're miles away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. Read a book, look out the window at the Dart river, watch a movie, eat and drink next door at the lodge or do a walk. Staff are lovely. We were on our honeymoon and loved it.

Another world!
Beautiful spot, perfect for getting away from the hustle & bustle. Still plenty of things to do though. Host, Toni, was very genuine & hospitable. Free enormous breakfast and the evening set meal was outstanding and extremely reasonably priced.
