We were supposed to be checked in at 4 but took u til 5:15 to be checked in. I happen to also find out that they booked me the wrong room, luckily, the front desk lady was able to put me in the correct one before anyone else booked it because it was the last pet friendly room.

Rude lady at check in. Door broken. Balcony door not locking, Bathroom broken. Not worth even $40 - 50 type of hotel. Beware. Real fraud. Never here again. Dirty all over.

I liked that you didn’t have to pass the front desk when you came in. The beach is right across the street. We came and went as we pleased. But if we needed something the staff was excellent in service. Great experience at this hotel.

We stayed at the Travelodge by Wyndham Outer Banks/Kill Devil Hills for a week. This was the WORST experience I ever had in ANY hotel. Our room was NEVER cleaned even though we requested housekeeping services after three days. We only got clean towels because the night auditor was able to provide them. We asked for housekeeping services again after the fourth day and still was ignored. I asked the hotel manager for a monetary adjustment and she referred me to Expedia. Expedia offered a $25 credit for the nextt time I book through them.

The property stuff were very nice and helpful. Just had some miscommunication due to not all stuff spoke English. It's a management issue. Hope they will give stuff more training. Otherwise, I would recommend this place for sure!

The propert is very close to the beach. You can walk to the beach within 5 minutes or less. The property need interior/exterion update becasue the condiction of the property looks old.

The property is listed as Ocean View. Maybe if you were on the top floor. No view at all. The rooms are dated. The hotel is pet friendly but the rooms are carpeted and the carpet is stained. No odor. Just multiple stains.

Pet rooms should be carpeted, but having sliding door access from your room to parking is outstanding. I liked the hotel and amenities.

We loved how accessible it was to the beach for the littles. We were only there a weekend, but each day breakfast was different and a great variety. Everything was clean. Only downside -not hotels fault- but a large group of teenager were there and on either side of our room were very loud late into the night.

We had a good stay. We were not able to get adjacent rooms as we were told when booking. But that was not a huge issue. It's a good hotel in a good location. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and cooperative.

Good Weekend!
All the common areas were being cleaned as soon as people left, which gave you good proof of sanitizing was good throughout. Would stay there again in a minute as it was close to places to eat also.

Dog owners be aware...
Room was as expected, dated but pretty clean. Access to beach was terrific. The property was pet friendly ( also nice because they didn't charge extra pet surcharge like most places do.) The bad thing was that their grassy areas were full of weeds that had painful burrs on them. The dog got them and they came in on our shoes. Very painful for the dog and for us.

There was a funny smell to the whole building, and a different smell in our room. I want to say it smelled like mildew and a strong cleaner in the building. In our room it kinda smelled like wet dog. Makes sense for it being a pet room, but unpleasant. I wanted to air out the room as soon as I got there, but there was no screen in the sliding door. Didn’t want bugs inside. 2 workers were behind the desk when we walked in, but they didn’t acknowledge us or say “we’ll be right with you.” They walked by us as if we weren’t there. Waited about 10 min. Another guest waiting at the front desk for something. Front desk lady finally comes back up, helped the other lady, and was very nice, fixed our keys that didn’t work the first time. Beds were very comfortable and clean.
