It was a nice hotel, clean carpets throughout. Clean bedding and clean towels, extra in the wardrobe.
Dog friendly, however when eating in the restaurant you have to wait in the bar area with the dog, so you'll need someone to accompany you so you can go get your food as dogs aren't allowed in room where you go to get your food. Which is down some stairs and around the corner. A bit inconvenient.
Isn't anywhere nearby where you could go get food 35 minute walk to a few dog friendly pubs.
the pool was quite small though probably two lanes worth of pool, very shallow.
The shower heads could probably do with a good clean or replaced as there was some discoloration to them. But bathroom was very clean aside from this, as was the room/rest of the hotel.
The field by the side of the hotel is quite waterlogged, so probably pack some outdoory shoes if you plan on a stroll.
