It'd a nice hotel but for $220 a night i would say its very overpriced. The pic make it look very upscale, its just a basic hotel. No smoking on the balconies or $350 fee. Hot tub closes at 9 and was full of kids even tho its posted NO CHILDREN ALLOWED. Breakfast was mid. Could have stayed on the plaza for less.

This hotel was very convenient to the airport and the shuttle drivers were wonderful. I also appreciated the staff helping me out when I left an item in my room after checkout and they immediately helped me go back up and get it. I will definitely stay there again if I fly out of KC and need to leave my vehicle.

Not being informed about not being able to take breakfast up to our room would have been nice to have known while checked in the night before when the receptionist discussed breakfast time. We found out in the morning and I was not very happy about it as it's inconvenient for those that just want solitude. Please inform all guests about this rule since it's unusal.

I understand that maintenance must be done on pools BUT to have it drained/refilled on a Friday is not very good business. I booked this hotel for the pool/hot tub and was unable to use them. So VERY disappointed!! Then was not allowed to take any breakfast items to room in the morning although other food items were obviously allowed in rooms.

Thank you for the feedback Sondra. We do apologize for the inconvenience of our pool and hot tub being shut down during your stay. It was unscheduled maintenance and it was our only option. As for the no breakfast items to the rooms, it is our policy for our complimentary breakfast. We can not regulate food you order and have delivered. Thank you for choosing Orangewood Inn & Suites.

Comfortable beds with nice bedding, very quiet, great breakfast. Friendly staff was happy to provide an extra duvet for my cold daughter. Nice shower. Only criticism I can think of is that the area of counter around the sink where we could leave our toiletries without getting dripped on was pretty limited by size and locations of liquid soap dispenser and towel rack. Overall I got a great value for price and convenient location very near the airport without any noise from planes or highway!

The property was nice and clean, the staff was friendly. But it all honesty it was one of the worst breakfasts I've seen at any hotel I've been at.

This hotel went above and beyond when it came to accommodating our group of 20 . We booked a trip not knowing it would fall on superbowl. And definitely clueless that our Chiefs would be in it. They allowed us to rent the conference room and use their projector. We were all 2 hours away, so we could not do the preliminary things like make sure the projector had a flash drive spot or if the internet would be enough. They communicated with our group well and I believe even went and bought something new for the projector to even made it work for us. We highly recommend!!

I liked the easy check in process, parking with security gate and hot tub and breakfast choices. Staff very polite. Only thing negative i can think of is the pool was a little colder than we would have liked.

The check in was quick & easy. Staff was helpful in letting us know some good places to eat and informed us about the shuttle service to the airport. Our room had some stuff on the floor. If it was vacuumed & mopped those items would have been cleaned up. Towels & sheets appeared to be clean.

Great hotel for the price. We picked due to recent reviews. We were in KC for ncaa wrestling. The price was right. We had two adults and two children. Found parking right in the front. Check in was convenient- took less than 5 min. Room was clean. Pool is open until 9pm. Lots of towels stocked. Hot tub had some visible debris. And only one jet worked for bubbles, but it was hot so we liked it. Pool was cold but the kids got used to it easily. Breakfast had many options but was extremely busy at 8am. Great variety but would be helpful to have a second waffle iron. There wasn’t any ice to be found, but we checked with the nice gal at the front desk and she filled my cup! Would stay in this hotel again next time we’re in kc for sure.

The property was easy to find and parking was quite adequate. The inside was up to date and very pleasant. The hotel was clean and offered 24/7 coffee. Also there was absolutely no noise from other rooms which made my stay very enjoyable. The bathroom was clean and shower easy to use with soap and shampoo dispensers. Comfortable beds and tv worked great.
