The facility needs to be updated. Room was relatively clean but lacked the essentials. We booked a room with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. There was no bedding for the sleeper sofa.

Heater didn’t work. It was dirty my sheets were from the people before. No remote, no tolite paper had to use Kleenex. People outside screaming all hours of the night and someone kept trying to open my door and was yelling into my door. I’m a woman that was there alone.

This place is need of some work. First room tv didn’t work. Next room smoke detector falling out of ceiling, draw broken just hanging. 1/2 bar soap still in tub and very dirty (we did not use).Very noisy above room and outside door. Will not stay here again.

Location was convenient for our purposes. Disappointed in dirty floor & tub, rusty microwave & unstable toilet. Front desk staff explained lack of housekeeping staff so some rooms not cleaned, therefore unavailable; kept calm & professional in a very difficult situation. She checked for us & found no room at nearby Am.Ex.Stay. We did offer to take any room rather than seek another location late evening. Did have fresh linens, new rerfrig, clean kitchenette area, comfy bed, desk. Have never had this happen w/ AmExt Stay before. Would not recommend this particular location on frontage rd.

While I don’t know about the hotel as I couldn’t stay there, I can say be careful with how they charge you…I was turned away last Saturday because the had no power due to the storm (which I completely understand), but then was charged a no show fee. I tried reaching the property multiple times with no answer (maybe still no power? But doubtful), and finally reached out to corporate guest services. The first rep hung up on me and the second said I would receive a call back within 24 hours, but that didn’t happen. Finally had to call my credit card company and they are working to resolve this issue

This is an old hotel in need of updating, catering to people who are on a budget. I was surprised at the quality and condition for the hotel chain name and brand. I would not choose this chain again, and nothing could convince me to stay here for an extended stay.

Strait to the point…go somewhere else if possible.
Terrible. On first arrival for check in we were asked to come back later. When we came back later our room was not ready (understaffed I was told) and there were no other rooms available. We had no bed comforters but luckily we made due…the A/C worked but was really the only saving grace. I recommend going anywhere else than this if in KC. We will too if there’s another time. Overpriced dump.

After paying for my room on Expedia I arrived at the property and I was told that I could not have my refund and there was no room available it took me more than 2 hours of begging basically for a room before I was actually permitted to get a room that I paid for Because I was traveling for business and I've never been to this part of the country before I did not know how terrible this particular side of town was this is not for tourists this particular place is for locals who are homeless or on the verge of being homeless and they live in what most of us would call the projects there was drugs everywhere I didn't sleep I was constantly afraid that my car was going to get broken into the bathroom was so nasty that I did not shower before I left it was just really one of the worst places I've ever stayed I would not recommend it for anybody who can afford anything else please do not stay here

This property was one of the worst I’ve seen. Staff was nice, but I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that I rebooked somewhere else immediately! There was no safety lock on the door, cars in the lot filled with garbage, the room smelled and there were ‘tenants’ wandering the property.

Was not a curtain rod in shower. Bad Check in clerk was great, beds were comfortable. Yea Breakfast in Lobby pretty pitiful, but that was ok , we found a great place for breakfast nearby.

Stay away!
Do not stay here! We left before check in. First no one at front desk for 20 min, though we heard yelling in the back (then we called). Then told that they couldn’t check anyone in during certain hours (after we had called to tell them when we’d be there). Then they didn’t have our reservation (magically found it when I showed her my email). Now we could check in (guess the no check in hours weren’t accurate) but only after paying a $200 deposit. For one night. When I said that there wasn’t a deposit amount listed anywhere she said it was because we booked on a third party site. When I showed her that it wasn’t listed on their website either (the only place it was shown anywhere was a little handmade sign hanging in the lobby), she told me I’d have to pay if I wanted the room. I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on the phone with someone (definitely not a manager) who made weird noises into the phone, then was very rude, told me I was being difficult, then asked to speak to the attendant again (sounded a lot like the voice of whoever was yelling when we got there). She hung up. I asked to speak to someone else and she told me there was no one else I could talk to but that she could try to do a $100 deposit instead. The whole experience was so weird and sketchy that I didn’t even want to give her my card number at that point so we left, having already paid for the room.

i had arrived and when i got there they told me expedia over booked me and i had to find somewhere else to rent i was not happy about that trying to find a hotel on a fridy not good expedia

We go down graded from 2 double beds to a queen because they said they over booked. The room has strange spots on the floor. It was okay for one night but if it was for more than a night we would have gone somewhere else. To top it off when we woke up to leave the car next to me side swept me and did not leave a note and there were no cameras to help me.
