Weekend away
We had a great stay, the kids and myself enjoyed the short walk to the beach, aswell as the tennis court. Lorraine was lovely to deal with, the home itself was clean and modern yet still had a quirky batch feeling to it . Everything needed was there to use at our convince. Awesome weekend away we will definitely be back 🙂

Peaceful beach escape
Lovely comfotable property in great setting. Close to beach, backing onto greenery - with the sound of the waves, birdsong, and chirping cicadas, it’s good for the soul!

The property is perfect for everyone! It has everything you need, lots of space for kids to play and adults to relax. Only a very short walk to the beach. It was very clean when we entered, host was very easy to communicate with and always replied quickly. Definitely recommend!

Kairakau Gem
The property was absolutely stunning. My partner and children had an amazing weekend. Just a short walk to the beach. The beds were so comfy it felt like we were sleeping on the clouds. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and they loved the puzzles and board games. Overall amazing stay. I would happily book this bach time and time again. It was amazing.

A nice relaxed get away.
The house was quite nicely laid out, with lots of living area. It was unfortunate that the weather was not very nice so we did spend a lot of time inside. We enjoyed or stay.

September Break.
Had a wonderful couple of days here, all the facilities you need. So nice and warm in the evenings with the fireplace. Loved playing tennis! Everything was great, thank you for our stay.

Cosy Bach with a loved family feel.
We had a lovely stay in this charming Bach. The fire really warmed the whole place nicely. Would happily stay for much longer. Breakfast outside on the deck with the morning sun is lovely, and with all the birds is magic. We will definitely be back in the warmer months if we can.

Serenity by the sea
The property is very well appointed with everything and more than you could ever need, to feel right at home. It has that great bach feeling, with a warmth of home from the lovely decor and furnishings. The kitchen has everything, and is very clean, thank you so much!! The wood burner was divine, plus we enjoyed the ambiance of the flames. Overall, the indoor outdoor feel, cosy, comfortable and in my view great value. The owner Lorraine is super to deal with and we thank her so much for her fantastic hospitality. We will come back!!

Making the Most of the Weather
We had a two night stay, a strong wet easterly kept us indoors for most of our stay. The house was warm and cosy thanks to a a very efficient woodburner. This is a very spectacular piece of coastine which we are keen to come back and explore in summer

Perfect little get away
Fantastic time out there. Very clean and tidy, loved the tennis court and all the gear you have available. If I could suggest an Xtra, it would be to have a information card about walks and areas for diving and fishing.

Lorraines batch was great. Pruvate, tudy, homely and nit far from the beach. Perfect.

Beautiful location, the property has everything you may need for your stay, make sure you have all your supplies as there isn't any shops nearby, beds were comfy, good pressure in the shower and nice big deck to relax on in the evening.

This is a great getaway for rest and relaxation. The bach has everything that is needed for a beach holiday. Easy walk to the beach, lovely big sunny deck to enjoy all day outdoor living. It's cosy, comfortable and restful.

Best Kept Secret
Kairakau is a slice of NZ that very few know about so if you are after a real getaway then this is it. Great for walking, swimming, fishing, tennis or simply doing nothing. The host is very accommodating and made our visit to her bach a truly great experience. Highly recommended.
