Improve quality of meals and variety!
I always go to the Lodge during December. I have been doing so for the past 6 years. The cleanliness and comfort are still pleasing. Im not happy about the quality of the food though, especially the breakfast and the buffet. The food was bland with limited choices. Change the chef and bring more variety to the food, please. The standard has been going down over the years, but the price per night has been steadily going up

Please know that the lodge is under new management and we are confident that Ryan will make a positive impact especially in the dinning area as he has a great love for food and service. Very nice place and enjoyed my stay there. However, the lodge must look at fixing the gravel road, can easily damage tires.

Amazing place
My partner and I enjoyed our stay very much. We liked our room, it was exactly as advertised, the view to the dam was amazing. Food was great, more especially breakfast. Room was super clean and staff is very friendly.

The whole place I think needs an upgrade! Definatly not 4 star . The staff were great ! But service very slow! Food good but again very slow , up to 60 min from placing an order, even for a drink. We did enjoy our stay. Thanks

Room with a view
The location and the view from our room was absolutely outstanding. Lovely pool area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Dinner was OK but disappointing in the sense that it was rather pedestrian. Breakfast was much better. They were very accommodating of my children who loved the hotel. I would encourage the hotel to look at moving away from plastic straws. When I refused the straw the waitress looked rather puzzled.

the meals were pathetic. there were 13 of usbs
Was dissatisfied with the breakfast and dinner. When the meals were finishing. You ask the staff to refill the meals they tell you that it is finished. It was sad.

Brilliant place for some family R&R
Pitty the are experiencing a drought in the area. Fish numbers are very low and if you catch anything consider yourself very lucky... FAR FROM A KARIBA EXPERIENCE THOUGH I MUST SAY... OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT THOUGH. 7/10 👍

The wifi was down all weekend and the condition of the bathroom could have been better; the shower in particular. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and have recommended it to a few of my friends!

bedroom to reception was up 83 large steps. Air conditioning leaked onto bed and left water marks down wall. Patio door hard job to open. Poor view of lake from room owing to undergrowth. Room on 2 levels with 9 large steps between with no hand rails.

The staff were very friendly - an absolute pleasure! But...the bane of my life at accommodation establishments - SLIDING TOILET SEATS! Despite reporting this, nothing was done - does one really need to go on holiday with nuts and bolts or cable ties? This should never be a problem if they check the rooms daily.
