The staff is amazing. Everything is very clean and easy. Except for the breakfast. The said it was included and they charged me separately. There’s nno buffet, you have to order from the menu and it’s not really cheap.

My stay was amazing, the place is not far from Gautrain station, Mandela square which is a good place with a number of restaurants.

I loved the hotel in all aspects. Location is great and the staff was wonderfull. The food in the restaurant was great. The room was large and facing a courtyard with a fountain. Lots of light. What not to like

Our stay in Joberg was during our honeymoon. We had a few days to fill between Cape town and safari in kruger park. On the pictures it looks like a good hotel with some nice facilities. But in reality it is barely a decent hotel. To be clear this has nothing to do with staff as that was good to excellent, but everything to do with maintenance, noise and pungent marijuana being smoked next door and in the pool area. If you have the bad luck to find yourself at the poolside, brace yourself as every morning at or just before 9 the music starts blaring. Perhaps you would want to close your windows to block the noice, but then you are confronted by a non-working aircon. Perhaps you want to take a nice warm shower after thus wake up call? Good luck under the tiny dribbles of water that come out of the nice looking shower head. Oh yeah we only had warm water 1 time out of 3 usages, and then the choice was between burning and luke warm. Handles doors and light switches are in desperate need of maintenance. As doors stick or dont close, switches barely hang in the wall and towel holders look like they will break if any weight is applied. Salon table is rocky like a ship in high water. And couch has the metal braces poking you when you sit on it. At all times of night people are smoking, talking, making merry and beeping car horns. Not restful at all. We were very pleased with the staff that cleaned the room, made the bed and the quality of the clothes cleaned.

Great Value - but please fix access to upper floor
Executive Room very spacious and comfortable & clean Staff really pleasant and helpful Only issues were with the Lift and the restaurant: 1. Elevator VERY noisy between level 1 & 2 and had to move rooms because it was ALWAYS very noisy 2. Cant actually get to any upper floors without first climbing up two sets of stairs just to get to the elevator 3. In house restaurant was over priced and VERY slow

The best thing here is Pablo. The restaurant is really super. The brunch was marvelous; the best breakfast I've had in about a year. The first room was unpleasant; it smelled of paint; there was no desk; and there was a noisy plumbing sound every few minutes. I asked for and received a better quieter room. It had a desk, which was better. But the hotel is very noisy (a bit like a club), so not great to work. the gym needs serious maintenance.
