The staff was excellent to a person. Beauty was a breath of fresh air as she prepared our omelettes daily. There was a problem with our AC unit in room 202, but they did provide a fan and we opened the windows, luckily it was cooler at night.

What a disappointment. We were so looking forward to our night away. Firstly our room wasnt ready when we checked in. Then we got to our room and the tv was all fuzzy and most channels didnt work. I informed reception and he said he would send someone up. Waited over an hour and nothing!!! Phoned again and they showed us another room but tv was the same. Said they couldnt do anything about it. The brisket was very spicy and peppercorn sauce was watery and lumpy. So dinner was a flop. The waitress was grumpy and i eventually asked her if shes okay cause she was messing with our vibe. Then we got the cot and it was missing a matress and filthy so our baby slept in our bed between us. Maybe time for a health inspection

Good room, small bathroom.
One small criticism was that the luggage rack is too small. Couldn't place a normal large suitcase (smaller than airline regulations) on the rack, so had to move it out of the way, and place the suitcase on the floor. The bathroom is too small - cannot close the door unless you are out of swing path. The handbasin is too high, and is blocked by the open door. The staff were absolutely tremendous! Well done.

The area is quite nice (within the 'compound'), and the best thing about this hotel is the bar next door (which have good food and drinks). Otherwise, the breakfast is awfully expensive (even in Cape-Town, we had a good breakfast at a super-nice hotel for half of the price). The dinner buffet in the evening is quite simple, but the bar next-door serves better food. The hotel is pretty tired, everywhere, and the staff seems only moderately interested in their work.

First of all, it was IMMACULATE! My husband was a Marriott Housekeeping Manager, and it exceeded expectations of most African properties of other brands. The staff at check-in (afternoon) blew us away with their friendliness, courtesy, and attention to detail. I could go on and on here about the comfort of the property, but there isn't enough room! Suffice it to say that we will DEFINITELY be back!!!

The stay was good overall but the one thing I wasn’t happy about is the shower drainage had a problem cause water was going out very very slow to a point one had to wait a while before continuing showering.

Good comfortable stay. The bed was superb and enjoyed the comfort of the room. The airconditioner needs to be upgraded as well as the lift as it looked in need of repair. Perfect stay close to family. Speed of service in the restaurant can be improved

A very nice, clean, and comfortable hotel
This was a great hotel in a good location for our business there in that area. We loved staying there. The only advice I would give to them is that on the nights when you have live music in the Lobby /Restaurant area, don't make it quite so loud! We could not hear each other talk at dinner above the music. The man singing was very good, just too loud!!!! Also we arrived during a night with live music and when we first entered , it sounded as if we were going into a discotheque or night club! HaHa! Other than that one suggestion, we loved being there and will plan to return.
