Was downtown to see concert at Filmore theatre. Wanted to stay somewhere close to theatre. always wanted to try and stay at book Cadillac hotel. What a fabulous hotel. I highly recommend staying here. Walking distance also to Hard Rock Cafe, too. Will stay here again for sure
A very well designed and interesting use of space in an old flour warehouse. Rooms are great, floor plans interesting, materials top notch and the staff well informed, pleasant and great ambassadors for Detroit. After booking it found out that a number of other people who I know use this hotel as one of their first choices when going to Detroit. Will definitely go back
I arrived in the afternoon, and was very pleasantly greeted by the woman at the front desk. She even helped me with getting a new wi-fi password after the one she'd given me expired. The room was a great size (was a little miffed that I didn't get a single bed-room; was only able to get a room with 2 queens, but oh well), and had everything I could ask for.
The free breakfast in the morning was very helpful (probably more my problem that I wasn't able to get to it some mornings because it was too early but whatever).
The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful, clean and had awesome amenities. The pool and fitness area were very nice. There was always several people around to answer our questions or assist us. We had two queen beds in a very spacious room with two teenagers and we were given a rollaway for no extra charge. Hotel is located close to several things to do in the city. Love, love, love the convenience of the People Mover located right in the hotel. We were in town or a Tigers game and took the People mover for .75 to within 2 blocks of the stadium. Awesome hotel!
Excellent comfortable bed! I'm the original princess & the pea. Nice room and great view of Ren-cen. But don't plan on eating there. Ran out of eggs and still wanted to charge 12.95$ for breakfast. The staff at the check in/out was great tho and recommended a great alternative.
Took a last minute trip to Detroit to visit the casino. This hotel was half the price of others in downtown but lacked nothing at all!! The staff (all staff) were excellent, from the valet staff to the chamber maids to the reception staff. The customer service was top notch.
Room was excellent and it was a $6 cab ride to Greektown. We are staying here when we visit again!!!!

Welcome to Crowne Plaza Detroit Convention Center. Located in the heart of the Detroit downtown business district. Adjacent …More
This hotel is situated right downtown with easy access to anywhere you need to go. Staff is accommodating and friendly. I wish they would have disclosed that valet was $55 a night which is expensive for Detroit and is definitely on the high end. Other than that, great hotel and the rooms are up to date and clean.
