"The area behind the B&B was lovely, very serene and pleasant. There was some road noise out front though. The host was very gracious and accomodating. Sharing a bathroom was difficult but I was aware ahead of time. The Blue Room bed was small. Overall, though. It was a very nice, peaceful experience."

"The Sweeney family had a wonderful time at Big Canoe and spending a weekend at your beautiful home. We all departed the home by 10am on Monday. We locked almost all the doors but no matter how hard we tried, we could not lock the door to the deck that was nearest the main floor kitchen. After some struggle we were able to lock the door next to it. Also, I wanted to give you some feedback on the plumbing. "Although some renovations it is an older property with an assortment of older furnishings. Lots of sitting areas and well equipped kitchen. The yard/dog area was in need of maintenance which was done at our request. Unfortunately it rained most of the first week and then the hurricane came but not the rental’s fault. The clubhouse is closed for renovations for a year and the pools closed Labor Day limiting dining choices. Overall we like Big Canoe and Vacasa were good to work with. ...

"Our two week stay at Harley’s Hideaway was wonderful. The cottage had such a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The deck area was the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Julie was always available and ever so helpful if we had a question. "We adored everything about our stay in this charming home EXCEPT the drive within the neighborhood. This is a lovely property just as pictured. Kitchen is beautifully stocked, and porches are so lovely. Master bed is very comfy. As one other reviewer said, the drive in is long. From main and north gates, the drive isn’t too terrible if you make every turn correctly. Wrong turns are easy, however, and some of the other portions of neighborhood have dramatically steep roads.
