- many ants - doorbell broken - The first room had no security latch - sink tap has scoliosis - only 2 pillows - aircon is directly in front of the bed - weak breakfast selection - only one toilet roll (2PLY!) - only two bath towels (no hand/face towel) For a 4 star hotel…terrible

Not nearly as nice as it appears in photos. Nothing is really walkable in the area and the only real attraction is the shopping mall. Hotel was dated and bathroom was really awkward with a shade over a glass wall. Bed was decently comfortable. Would only stay here if business required it. Not for couples/holiday.

A great value for your money
Staff and service was exceptionally excellent. They went out of their way to attend to our needs. My 6 year old granddaughter left her purse containing money in a common area. We didn’t even realize it was missing until upon checkout they asked if it was ours and returned it intact. They also made car reservations and translated for us. Additionally the breakfast buffet was 5+ stars. Had everything you could imagine beautifully presented. It was a very impressive display and hard to imagine for the price of a night. Well worth the cost of the room. Only con was the building and interior is starting to appear weathered but not enough to distract from the outstanding service and quiet room

In cahoots with crook taxi drivers
In cahoots with crook taxi drivers. I took taxi from airport to this hotel and the taxi driver tried to give me fake receipt with fake numbers from 2 days before the ride even took place. Then I talked to the hotel people here since they can speak indonesian hoping they would tell the driver the ride should only be 100k instead of 200k (we already took the same way before with another taxi and we only paid 100k). Then the hotel people tell me the 200k fee is "standard" but when I confronted with the hotel people and the driver with the fake reciept, and the fake dates, the driver tells me it's "printing error" and now 'only' demand 150k, and the hotel people tell me it's "standard" now, where the standard seemed to change just in 5minutes from 200k to 150k. Yes it's only 50k IDR but the principle is that the hotel should be the customers' advocates not crook cab drivers. My best advice is to avoid this hotel and, or most of all, any taxi services this hotel calls for you

Awesome stay and great hospitality
The staff was really kind and helpful. Check-in was done within 5 minutes. The room is really clean and the breakfast selection is also great. Dewi also helped mr during the breakfast and she really took care of me and the other guests. Thank you Dewi for the awesome service. I highly recommend this place as the hotel also has free shuttle to and from the airport, and the location is convenient as well. Really close to a mall and plenty of taxi around.

Leaky walls, ants in bathroom, and roaches in the room. I would not call this a 4 star hotel. Perhaps I got unlucky and was in the older tower where all the problems were, but this was definitely an unpleasant experience. Wifi was mediocre but usable, TV signal kept giving out, and the power went out multiple times throughout the night. Glad I didn't have to stay here for long.

First time in Pluit
Our few day stayed was alright. Breakfast was very good. There were quite a few choices and the menus changed everyday, very satisfying. Spacious room was a plus. However, water pressure was very weak and there was no hot water for a few days. Surrounded areas were not accessible by foot. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel close to the Airport but far from the city. The breakfast was good, Some staff did not have knowledge of the shopping facilities and area of interest nearby, also poor knowledge of the distance from hotel to the Airport, basically did not want to commit to anything. The payment facilities was in dollar and we lost in exchange rate.

More than what you pay for
It's worth the money. They have free shuttle service to airport (cgk). Their buffet has a good variety. You'll have buns to cakes and salad to rice and noodles and English breakfast. Do note that you can order scramble egg it's part of the buffet. Pool and gym it's okay for the price you're paying I'd say it's okay. The room is spacious but the toilet is abit compact. I love the customer service here it's really good. And they have food available in the hotel 24/7 on selected dishes. Cleanliness and house keeping is good. And the staffs are able to speak and understand English. I would say if you're on a budget and you want a hotel that is good. I would say aston will be the best. Because they offer you more than what you pay for. And it's near to emporium pluit mall I stayed in room 28011.

The good part of the Aston Pluit Jakarta Hotel & Residence is its staff, especially the staff in the restaurant and housekeeping department – professional, active and sincere. Special thanks shall be given to Arum, Devita, Wayan and another young girl who is in the reception position of the restaurant in the morning. Besides, my appreciation is also given to the housekeeper who prepare my room every day (normally after 7 pm) and the front desk staff Crestian and so on. However, the major problem of the hotel is its facilities and room condition. The gym and swimming pool are both simple and small. The room is big, but the maintenance of the room is not so well, the tap is loosened in my room, and the water for shower is not hot at all (at most warm). Wi-Fi is neither fast nor stable in the room, and you even may find some ants in the room. It, unfortunately, counteracts the efforts that the hotel pays in raising the experience of the guests.

Stayed here on our last night in Jakarta and was able to avail of the free airport shuttle from and to the Jakarta International airport. Their pickup and drop off times are fixed, and I was advised that they arrange transportation on different times of the day but for a fixed price. Luckily our arrival and departure flights’ schedules fit their pickup and drop off schedules with their free airport shuttle. The hotel is also a condominium so residents occupy the lower floors. The building looks old and needs upgrading. I could see some clothes of residents hung on the windows. Upon checkin we were given welcome drinks. We had to provide security deposit for possible mini bar purchases. Elevators were slow and it was hot inside. The room was big and spacious and gave us a good view of the city. Bed was comfortable. The airconditioning wasn’t enough to cool the room - it was already set at 18 degrees but the room still felt warm. Hotel was walking distance to the Emporium Mall where we had our dinner. When we got back to the room we realized there was a gap on the door so the inside of the room can be seen from the hallway. Breakfast was delicious and there were many selections. Service was overall good, the front desk staff asked for our feedback when we checked out.

Nice hotel
Good hotel with good amenities. Though the hotel has to also look at the safety of their guests when they walk on the sidewalk right outside their perimeter wall with at least 2 big open manholes. Location was near a mall with quality stores and lots of taxi near the area..

Good Hotel central to Airport
I travel to Indonesia for business on a regular basis. The Aston Pluit Hotel is located close to the Airport, and perfect for accessing the rest of Jakarta.

Peaceful hotel
Hotel was good. Bed was perfect. Spa/massage good. Comfy bed made me having a good rest. Breakfast spread not bad.Staff excelent and accommodating in our early checkin. Only thing is it’s a distance to go anywhere.

Comfortable Relaxing and Affordable hotel.
Hotel stay was good and comfortable.Love the spacious clean room with big bed.Only the Front desk personnel were always charming and nice.Breakfast menu so so.Not much varieties being a 5 days guest.

Not very good hotel
My stay was ok staff are unhelpful you must ask 2 or 3 times to get your problem addressed.like the room phone did not work all 6days of my stay they keep comming and try to fix it everyday.on my check out day I had 2 big luggage cases I took one to taxi and porter said to me if you pay me I will take for you.i said no need it's bad service.
