Resort style accommodation
Stayed for the Plava Laguna 5150. Overall very happy. Late in the season so not many food options outside of hotel buffet. Property clean well maintained. Very much a resort vibe. Careful with room choices our room had small sitting room, bedroom on lower floor with appx 12 steps would be tough for anyone with mobility issues.

Good hotel in Porec area
Nice and good hotel. Room is very clean. Good WiFi. Breakfast and dinner where very tasty and of good variety. Tha staff were very polite and willing to help. Nice sweeming pool and beautiful laguna opposite the hotel. All in All highly re.

Half Board Hotel
Used this hotel as a base to visit various places in the surrounding area. We were originally allocated room on the third floor but the view from the balcony was a brick wall. So we asked for a change of room and this was done without any complaints at all. The rooms are all half board and there was a huge choice of meals available for breakfast and evening meals. There is a vast car park associated to the hotel, at a charge of one euro a day. There is also a bar area which hosted a singing act for most evenings. The old town is approximately an hour away if you are walking, however there is a tourist tram available for 20 kuna one way per person. Would highly recommend the latter.

Everything from breakfast to dinner is perfect. The spa and massage services are intimate. The pools are probably the best in the area, just don't forget your towel card. The location is scenic and serene. My only critiscism is the bathrooms are all shower tub combos. I would prefer seperate walk-in showers and larger tubs.

The surrounding area od Zelena Laguna is extremely pretty and well maintained with beautiful coves and pebbled beaches (albeit also many others clad in concrete) just a short walk away. The hotel is fine for a couple of days, but the food choice in the buffet dinner is very weak (compared to comparable hotels in Croatia) and frankly not very good. The bright side is that the staff is outstanding and exceedingly nice.

I travel a lot. I stay in hotels a lot. I live in Croatia, and have stayed in many hotels in Croatia. THIS IS THE WORST hotel I have stayed in in Croatia. The balcony had not been tidied since the previous chain-smoking occupants had left, with a piled ashtray, and dirty glasses being the highpoint. ALL of the towels had to be replaced, as they were filthy, and had been folded neatly in their places. The air conditioning blew WARM air, not cool air, and dinner in the restaurant was sub-par for this kind of inclusive Croatian beach hotel. The breakfast, however was very good. The annoying part is that the staff in the restaurant were great, nothing was too much trouble. The lady on reception tackled our cleaning problems quickly, and was very welcoming during check-in. Unfortunately, possibly through lack of experience, she was unable to point out where the local park was (and it was really close). I would have scored the service higher, but for the poor cleaning. Maybe some of the above were pre-season glitches, but there were other things that pointed to something wrong here. The beds were uncomfortable, the soups in the restaurant were from a packet (probably the powdered type). I hope they will get things sorted out soon, but as there are too many other excellent hotels for similar price in Croatia, I guess I won't return to find out if they do.

Awful hotel would not recommend
Not a four star hotel, restaurant feels like a school/work canteen. Definitely not for vegetarians! A child had a poo in the pool and it was just fished out and everyone just carried on in the pool. Obviously we never went in again. The rooms are far too small for a family of three, they had to move furniture from the room on to the balcony so they could fit in a third bed and there was no room to store two suitcases. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, we chose to eat in Porec at night as the food and restaurant overall experience was so bad. You have to get a train into Porec or a taxi which costs about £6 each way otherwise you are stuck in the Laguna which feels like you are in a holiday camp, not a good experience.

Lovely holiday porec is beautiful, hotel a way out of the centre but regular little train service to take you there. Also lovely walk along promenade around Coast to follow with regular places to shop. Hotel communal areas very well maintained and modern, rooms looked a bit tired probably due to having carpet and standard room small if you have a child. Very European with not many Brits.

The resort is not on the beach. Nobody swam in the beach it is near. We walked 15 minutes towards the sea side to get to a nice location. The rooms were ok as well as the food. You have to pay for any drink at dinnertime. We wee without hot water for 3 of our four days. This was essential for the family because we traveled the area extensively or hit the beach. When asked for a discount from what i paid or at least cover the drinks from dinner the front desk said sorry, no. I would pay a little more for a more reliable facility with a better location.

The room is cozy and clean. Half board, breakfast & dinner are good. Only one negative thing is its beach. However, we can use it near the hotel just not in front of the hotel. And the price compromise it!

Room was clean. Lacked tissue in bathroom. Food was not as good as last year. Dinner was not re-stocked later in the dinner period, so if you came late, you missed out on popular foods. Hotel staff were pleasant. Last day, housekeeping entered room while we were sleeping (around 9am), without knocking.

My friends and I travel to Porec to wakeboard at the cable park. The hotel is across the street from the park and minutes from the boardwalk/marina. The hotel does charge for internet (not sure how much, didn't subscribe), has two beautiful pools/pool areas, a generous breakfast, and a nice restaurant/cafe. We have also stayed at the Valamar Riviera (pretty swanky). Staying there gives you access to the private island across the water. Club music is loud into the AM...

Porec Croatial was a fantastic place to visit. We loved the city, the restaurants, the people, and the surroundings. The hotel was a bit off the beaten path, but there were several ways to get to town that were cheap, quick, and convenient. The hotel staff was very helpful and the service was great. The hotel common area's were clean and well kept. The only downside to the hotel was that our room (standard double) was very small.

Very modern, beautifully clean hotel; near to sea and pleasant walks. Two swimming pools (no problems with towels - you get a card from reception and they are free) and plentiful sports facilities. This is one of many huge hotels on the headland, about two miles from Porec. The evening meal was a bit of a problem. The food was, of course, mass produced and very overcooked and rather tasteless.

Pros: We had brilliant service by 2 of the staff at the front desk. Very helpful. Great for kids who like to swim. They have a good sized children's pool (with a small play area to the side-a swing, slides and go around). The larger pool has space for the kids to swim around, splash, etc and they do have a few adult water games throughout the day. The food provided is a wide range and of good quality. The rooms while a bit small are in newer and therefor well kept as is the general areas of the hotel. The bathrooms also are up to date and clean lines and all rooms seem to have a balcony with chairs and table. If you are looking for a half board place in the area, this might be a good choice if it is a really good price. Cons: They nickel and dime you for everything. In this day and age, charging for wireless internet ($6/hour) when it is already installed seems silly. They charge you for water at dinner. I think you would get enough people buying other drinks (juice, wine, beer, etc) that you do not need to charge your guests for water, just provide a jug of tap water for each table. The gym is really non existent as when I was there they have the machines, but none of them were in working order. The kids club had very limited hours and the area was not that clean. These items annoyed me enough that I would not choose to stay there again, but find somewhere else. Not a lot around the area, but maybe a good base for visiting the surrounding area which we did.

Wenige Mitarbeiter waren freundlich(kein Hallo, Tschüss oder beim auschecken noch nicht mal die Frage, ob man zufrieden war.) Oberflächlich wirkt es sauber, wenn man aber genauer hinsieht, ist doch einiges nicht sehr hygienisch. Bspw.Beim Getränkespender war am Ausschank schwarzer Belag, nachdem wir es gemeldet haben, wurde es einmalig in zwei Wochen gereinigt. Toiletten im Foyer waren z.T. Nicht ausreichend gereinigt. Die erste Woche Miniclub waren von der Animation nicht sehr befriedigend. Animateurinnen haben auf den Handy gespielt oder sind abseits von den Kindern zusammen gesessen. Nach einer Woche war Personalwechsel, dann war es besser. Die Wasserski Piste direkt am Hotelstrand führte dazu, dass es schwer war den ‚Strand‘ zu nutzen. Wenn man aber 10 Minuten gelaufen ist, konnte man besser ins Wasser. Essen gab es einige Auswahl, jedoch war es geschmacklich eher untere Mittelklasse. Alles in allem war es nicht so, dass man es nicht ausgehalten hat, aber wir hätten uns doch an der ein oder anderen Stelle mehr erwartet: Mehr Hygiene, mehr Freundlichkeit…

Hôtel impeccable avec du personnel avenant. Nous avons hérité d'une chambre côté gauche de l'hôtel mais est situé à côté une discothèque ouverte jusque 5h du matin ce qui rend le sommeil difficile .... Nous avons expliqué le problème à la réception qui nous a immédiatement transféré dans une autre chambre. Hôtel parfait, pays en tout point merveilleux, propre, sûr, plage aménagée, ... Schönes Urlaushotel direkt am Strand
Die grosse Hotelanlage direkt am Strand ist bestens ausgestattet für einen längeren Urlaub. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, doch modern und sauber. es verfügt über ein schönes und grosses Restaurant. Die Bar bietet Live Unterhaltung, wir hattten an beiden Abenden Live-Musik, leider ist die Bar für ein so grosses Hotel fast zu klein. Für das Auto gibt es genügend Parkplätze.
