Excellent accueil Chambre simple sans décoration ni confort particulier ("dans son jus" charme desuet) mais propre Et surtout avec une grande terrasse très agréable et très belle vue mèr Piscine agréable aussi Dîner excellent avec cuisine familiale "maison" goûteuse et tres bon rapport qualité prix

La terrasse avec vue sur mer remplace tout !

Chambre avec un confort très sommaire, SDB très petite avec douche de 30 cm x 40 cm (on arrive quand même à se laver !) , mais comment se plaindre quand on voit la merveilleuse vue sur la mer, et une terrasse avec transat ! Ca efface tous les désagréments de la chambre ! Accès à la plage en longeant la route pendant 10 min.

Atemberaubende Aussicht

Fast jedes Jahr besuche ich die bezaubernde Insel Ischia. Idyllisch am Hang gelegen, besticht die Villa al Mare mit ihrer traumhaften Aussicht auf die Maronti-Bucht, das Meer und den Strand sowie mit einem persönlichen Service. Der Familienbetrieb kümmert sich um die individuellen Bedürfnisse seiner Gäste. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, hübsch eingerichtet und ordentlich. Im kleinen Pool können sich "Erhitzte" erfrischen und Kinder plantschen. Hier finden Einzelpersonen, Paare und Familien ein schönes Ferien-Plätzchen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist insgesamt sehr gut.

The view from the balcony was exquisite, the hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. As a comment (not critique), to get to the beach, it takes about a 20 minute walk or a bus ride. The bus stops right directly in front of the hotel, though.

Vista stupenda ma......

L'hotel ha un vista bellissima ma non si trova sul mare. Per arrivare in spiaggia ai maronti bisogna prendere l'autobus e fare 2 fermate..sempre se l'autobus si ferma!! Infatti i maronti sono frequentati da moltissime persone e gli autobus sono quasi sempre pieni. Per raggiungere i maronti in taxi il costo standard dal porto è di 25 euro quindi vi consiglio un motorino (consiglio che vale sempre se vi spostate da ischia ponte!!). La colazione è di buona qualità: cornetti, marmellata, yogurt, cereali, succhi, spremuta d'arancia... Non c'è il condizionatore ed il terrazzo è condiviso con altre stanze quindi non è possibile lasciare il balcone aperto per far rinfrescare la stanza di notte...

beatiful place but rude service

Anyone who can ignore rude hotel staff will be extremely pleased by the beautiful location and view "Villa al Mare" offers from its rooms and terrace. I found it difficult to enjoy the magnificent view over the bay and Saint Angelo while the staff surrounds you with unhappy and frustrated faces. The staff consists of four people, three ladies and one guy who all speak well German but no English or French. At least the oldest lady remembered the basics of polite interaction with guests.

Très bon séjour à l'Hotel Villa al Mare

Nous avons passé 10 jours fort sympathique (fin juillet 2010) dans ce très joli hôtel familial, les chambres ne sont pas très grandes mais propre et les terrasses ont une très belle vue sur la baie Maronti. La piscine est petite mais offre un coin calme pour la détente. La plage de sable et petit cailloux est belle et propre comme la mer. La restauration en pension à l'hôtel est simple et bonne, pour les gourmets il y a deux restaurants juste à coté de l'hôtel on peut y manger de très bonnes spécialités de l'île. Seul bémol, les moustiques ! et ils sont très agressifs en saison ! Important : équipez-vous de produit anti-moustique efficace. ( disponible à la réception de l'hôtel )

Super Ausblick auf tolle Bucht !

Das Hotel hat einen superschönen Ausblick auf die Bucht und den Strand. Zum Strand läuft man allerdings an der Straße entlang 20 Minuten. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und man hat auch vom Pool und der Terasse diesen wunderschönen Blick. Frühstück ist O.K., allerdings kein Buffet, wie verprochen. Abendessen war lecker, wird aber leider etwas lieblos serviert. Man bekommt die 3 Gänge schnell hintereinander auf den Tisch geworfen. Die Familie, die das Hotel führt ist leider etwas muffelig und nicht typisch italienisch, aufgeschlossen und nett. Aber daran darf man sich halt nicht stören. Die Zimmer sind sauber.

A wonderful hotel, with helpful freiendly and accommodating staff. I would go back to Ischia just to stay here, it was perfectly lovely! The only warning I would give is that this hotel is definitely not suitable for elderly or infirm guests, lots of stairs!
