The property is beautiful. It is well kept and has a very interesting motif. Same is true for the rooms. It was quite busy upon my arrival, and with only 2 clerks, it took a while to check in. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I wish they had an airport shuttle. It would have made my life a lot easier.

Room and bathroom was dirty! Black ring of mold/mildew in the toilet someone else’s breath right nasal strip stuck to the shower curtain. Lots of stains on the carpet. The list goes on. Very loud at night. Lots of doors slamming. Parking gate did not work with room keys ever.

Beautiful facade and property, friendly knowledgeable staff. Great gym and pool area is so relaxing and makes you want to spend time outside. The room so fun and decor was perfect, with a large balcony. The tub was a half tub, bathroom wasn't spectacular but the rest of the room was. Its literally across the street from the airport you can walk to it easily and there are plenty of places to eat at near. You can also rent a car inside the hotel which I did not, or you can park for $18 a day in an open uncovered lot. The shampoo was ok the conditioner was bad and you needed a lot. Comfy bed with lots of pillows, could use more blankets in my opinion. There was a mini fridge but no microwave.

I incurred an additional cost for the privilege of a pool view, however, I was disappointed to discover that I had rails in my view. The bed sheets were absent, and instead, were found to be adorned with cotton balls. Furthermore, to my dismay, there was an unwelcome presence of a spider within the confines of the bed.

I booked this place because I could access it on foot from the airport. It is very convenient if you don’t have a car. If you do have a car, be aware that the daily parking rate will add substantially to your hotel bill. My room was pleasant, staff were helpful.

The rooms have been updated but lack amenities like a small fridge or smart tv - asked for linens to be changed and housekeeping just handed me linens & didn’t offer to change them. Hallway noise was loud and disruptive to my kids sleeping. Lastly, a lot of questionable activity around the property from possible prostitution and or drug deals. One night we came back someone was doing drugs in their car! Spend an extra $20-$50 and stay next door at the Hilton or down at the Renaissance. Will not stay here again!

The property is very outdated. It is not what you see in the photos. Our room was dirty. Cushions on the couch were stained, carpet was stained, and coming up. Coffee grounds all over the counter and under the glass top. You have to pay to park $24 a day which was not posted on this site.

it is an art deco facility with updates. The room was clean, quiet, very comfortable bed and pillows; had a needed good night rest. It's very close to UC Irvine, my reason for visiting the area.

All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Even had a nice little balcony/patio with chairs. TV is badly outdated, no smart casting or even a TV guide channel or guide button. Plenty of space in the courtyard/pool area for lounging. Parking space not included with room, something like $24 a day. Closest street parking I found was on Business Center Drive, everything else is a paid lot.

I feel it wasn’t worth the price I paid for the room. The bathroom was very tiny and didn’t have vents for the steam. The sink had no counter space for a couple to get ready. We had a king size suite. None of the lamps were plugged in, parking was also expensive for one day. I would have stayed somewhere else had I known.

The shower in our room flooded the entire bathroom and we had to be moved to another room. Because of the inconvenience and amount of time it took us to move, We missed our paid ticketed event. The hotel staff said they upgraded our room and they did not. In fact, the room we received has less furniture than our original room. They did give a room with a pool view but who needs a pool view when it is 69 degrees outside. I requested at least one night refunded and the hotel refused.

I liked the convenience of getting to the airport (literally across the street). The room was spacious, nice decor, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. I didn’t like the big dead cockroach on the bathroom floor upon arrival. I didn’t like that there was no bar soap upon arrival and when I asked the front desk the woman said there is no bar soap available—only shampoo to use as soap! And when I looked on the bathroom counter, there was only conditioner and lotion. I asked if someone could then bring the shampoo up to my room and she said she’s the only one at the desk and couldn’t leave her station. So I had to pick up the shampoo myself. And when I did, lo and behold she said “look what I found?” and produced a small bar of soap. She said it was the last one. ??? Aside from the cockroach and the soap issue, everything else was fine including the very nice morning staff. I did check in late at night 1030pm but the night person seemed to have no clue about making gusts feel comfortable and properly attended to.

I had a surprise visit to Irvine for a few days, and I booked this place from the lobby of the company recommendation and will stay here from now on. It’s a 10 minute walk to the office and much nicer.
