"Great location one block from the bay."
The hotel is very clean and the location is great. It is just one block from the Inner Harbor and close to the action. The rooms were nicely appointed and recently redone. The only problem for some people might be the parking situation in the parking. We paid $36 per night for valet parking and it was well worth it. The traffic can be a little hectic with many one way streets in the area. Self parking across the street is an option. We had a great time there and the staff was very helpful.

"Great hotel for Otakon"
I had a really great experience staying at this hotel. The staff was really friendly even though they were full of people for the anime convention. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of good options. They even had a made to order omelet station. The room was really nice and clean upon arrival and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the room I booked (1 queen bed with 1 pull out sofa bed) came with a mini kitchen.

"Baltimore on a budget!"
Hotel had many amenities for the price we paid through Expedia- decent pool and hot tub. Sauna as well, but we didn't use it. Free hot breakfast and free parking. I had called the day before to request early check-in because we were to arrive an hour before check-in and my husband was going to drop off my daughter and I to attend a business meeting. They said it would be no problem. When we arrived, their computers were down so they couldn't check anyone in, but they did let people use the pool while they were waiting to check in. By the time we were done at the pool an hour later, they were back working! We also had a great experience on the shuttle. Instead of driving to the Inner Harbor and dealing with parking- which seemed quite expensive- we took the shuttle. It was like a free tour of Baltimore as they dropped people off at the ballpark first. Overall, very good experience at Baltimore's Best Western Plus!

"Wonderful style."
Great Staff, beautiful decor, grand old hotel, great colorful style, big room, superb services, very convenient, hot day outside, the room's climate control is high tech, terribly loud all night, on and off, A/C dial had a sign asking us to bear with them, it was so uncomfortable we had to turn it off, and then we heard all kinds of other noise, city noise, hotel noise. But we did save energy.. Too bad because the hotel is great otherwise. Thanks for asking.

What stood out the most was the outright willingness and with happiness the wonderful staff..every last one was willing to help me and my kids.....hell, even if we just looked lost, someone we wouldnt even ask would xirect us or ask if we needed help. I love the smiles and helpful nature of good people anywhere.. so here, I was just blown away
