"The room was filthy with stains on the floor and a used towel in the bathroom. I wore disposable slippers because it was that bad. The towels I assume were clean, although they looked dirty. This is not what I expected based on the other reviews. As for breakfast, the food handler prepares the food and gathers used dishes all while wearing a pair of gloves that are never changed. Ex. Placing bacon on a sheet and then grabbing yogurt. Another time making scrambled eggs with all the dirty dishes there and then washing tomatoes without washing hands. Plus, when we arrived for breakfast you had a choice of cereal, milk or coffee as the other items needed to be re-stocked. The lady making the eggs had to try to cook, clean tables, and replace the food. I don’t typically write reviews, but this place actually made me physically sick because of how filthy it was. This is not a place I would recommended anyone to stay. The workers are nice; however, they need more help and direction on food safety and cleanliness standards. I personally would give this place a one star. We stayed at a place in Verona that was a three star and it was beyond any of the four stars."
