Great property that is clean and modern. Oddly though pool and sauna area get closed down betwewn 11am and 3pm, so was a little dissappointed when we were turned back. Staff have typically northern attitude, in that you do not know whether they are intentionally angry at you, rude and unhelpful or they are just like that. One thing that annoyed was inability to get our room cleaned while we were out. It was only at 5pm on a workday when room service knocked on the door to offer to clean-up. In this are hotel could do better!

The sauna and pool area are in high demand daily and also get cleaned daily between 11am and 3pm. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. My room was overlooking the port. I enjoyed the sauna and pool with amazing view of the port area and sea. Huge breakfast and conveniently timed. Helpful staff.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room (despite being compact) was modern, quiet, had good views. I enjoyed the rooftop and the buffet breakfast is extraordinary. There is a supermarket nearby and the design district is just around the Harbour. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The location was perfect and we could walk everywhere from the hotel. The rooftop pool and skybar had some great views. Overall, we had a great time.

All very friendly staff. But restaurant and room service finish at 10.30 which is a problem if you check in late. And on two occasions i rang for room service no one picked up. And given the location there is nowhere nearby to eat.

Hi Stephen,Thank you for your visit and review.You are correct that if you arrive at night time, its a good idea to eat somewhere before. The hotel does offer light snacks ( sandwhiches, chips, etc). There is also a 24/7 conveniece store very close to the hotel, but for a warm meal at night time the city centre is the best option.Hope to see you back at Clarion Helsinki!

Even it was very short stay-I liked it. Great location for me, good breakfast, very big pillow= excellent sleep! and nice views from higher floors.
