Rooms have been redone and I liked that it wasn’t carpet… however the floors were super dirty. They just mopped it and told us it may still be wet, that was fine, but it was DIRTY. White socks were black after walking on it. Same in our friends room. The area was quiet, and the redone rooms could be very nice if not for the floors. Also the dog policy on here and in person are 2 different things. They also refused to give a printed receipt saying they don’t even have a printer to do it. We were also watched every time we went to the car are walked the dogs… like they stood and watched us do every action… kinda weird.

Walking into bathroom met with a shower chair that had dried blood on it (Stayed in an accessible room). Bed was really uncomfortable. Pillows were either too flat or too fluffy. The breakfast was a joke, boxed cereal, no milk, a broken waffle maker, no pastries, bread was out by 9am so no toast... Even the ice machine was broken. Seriously disappointing for the cost and nothing like the pictures.

After checking into my room, we went to dinner. Upon our return to the room, we walked into the room and found someone else in the room. The experience was very traumatic and could have escalated quickly. I did not feel safe. The staff told me that there was a glitch in the system but only referred to two notebooks and sheets of paper. I am extremely upset and will not be returning

It was okay, it was mostly under renovations and everything was basically limited and off service. Some hairs on the bed of the hotel, hard beds, and a german roach under the bed.

Very nice updated room but the latch on the door was broken and the toilet would barely flush. The breakfast area was not maintained well, but food ok. I would consider staying here again. It was an on value hotel. 3.5 out of 5 for me

first nothing was said about remodeling when we booked. They offered no fee cancellation before check in but it’s too late when you arrive to make other arrangements no coffee pot in the room refrigerator doesn’t work a lot of stains holes in the wall shower head doesn’t work properly toilet is loose tub patches look terrible no klenix in the holder furniture is scarred probably one of the worst rooms we have ever stayed in also full dumpsters in the parking lot shipping containers in the parking lot the lobby is full of boxes if you are going to remodel shut the place down for 2 weeks this is horrible

I really wish there were better communication regarding properties undergoing reno. We arrived at 9:30pm in Very Busy Helen with no advance notice that they were renovating and given the option to cxl w/fee. No way could we find a hotel in Helen during Oktoberfest for less than $250/night and we needed 2 nights. After the first night we needed a blanket as the beds had a sheet and a thin comforter not much thicker than the sheet. We also needed a replacement iron for our clothes. We made this request on Sunday morning. When we came back that afternoon, there was still no iron or blanket. We bought a steamer and headed to our event we traveled for. When we came back at 9pm there was still no blanket. I was tired from traveling and had already taken my shoes off, oh, and there are no phones set up, so no way to ‘call’ front desk (folding table while they wait for countertops) for anything. The continental breakfast was fine. Yogurt,cereal, toast, oatmeal, waffle maker, coffee and Tea. Def not one of our best choices. Hardwood floors in rms are great idea, but need a small rug at door or you’ll be walking on dirty floors after getting out of shower. Lamps were wobbly and only 2/3 outlets worked. Shower heads were terrible, per usual for motels. Please make strides to notify paying customers Ahead of arrival that places are undergoing construction/reno.

The first room we were placed in had water all over the floor from a leak from construction. We were told maintenance would come and fix it; so we placed all our luggage etc in the room. 6 hours later we returned to the room and the water mess was still there. We had to move all of our stuff to a different room-royal pain. That room had filthy floors.

Hotel GM lied
The motel is under construction, the management and staff are rude and unaccommodating when we complained about the noise. There was an issue upon check in with the total bill and I had to pay more out of pocket for a room I had already paid for. The construction was in the room above ours and the staff never offered to move us to a different area. We were not informed of the noise upon check in.

They are in the middle of renovating and should not charge the regular rate , because nothing really worked ! Toilet hardly flushed , no blankets , no hair dryer , slept on spring mattress , sink had no stopper , outside corridor had building material and to get out I needed to clime over them etc …

We did not know property was under construction. We did not feel safe. Beds uncomfortable and we have video of room 205 had bedbugs and clogged toilet. Room 207 was dirty. Heat would not come on in 207. Breakfast was a joke. This is not the adapts Inn we are used to.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE. The room had bugs, the lamps were not clean and had not been cleaned in VERY long time since there was a very thick layer of dust on them. The sink was clogged. We were told it would get fixed it never did. They were aware of this problem because when I mentioned it he said “I don’t know why that keeps happening I thought it was fixed.” The mirror, bath tub were not clean. The bathtub had what looked like mold on the edge of the tin by the floor. The toilet since was broken and moved. The microwave looked dirty. The bed had flat pillows and was an ancient spring mattress. The “blankets” on the bed are ONE threadbare sheet, and a shower curtain looking wannabe comforter it was thin and useless. The walls are thin I heard the person next door snoring. I honestly thought the WYNDHAM name was better than this. Honestly that was the only reason I booked this room. STAY AWAY!

Property is being renovated so everything is in disarray. During the night we had water leaking into our room from the neighbor’s bathroom next door. Apparently it was renovated and the bathtub drain was not reconnected to the pipes so water ran through the walls. Give this location till Oktoberfest next year (2024) before it’s finished. Stay at your own risk.

Terrible service, management, and poor etiquette.
This was the absolute worst experience we have ever had with any hotel. I never write reviews but this needs to be said. The hotel was under construction half of the rooms had workers in them. There was a big dumpster in the parking area and the smell was terrible. The pool was drained. I asked for a refund before I went in my room. Employee called the hotel owner then stated I need to call hotels.com after being on the phone for an hour I walked back inside where the manager (the boss of the employee) was on the phone with Hotels.com stating that he was not going to issue a refund. He was being stubborn and lied to my face on multiple occasions. Very disrespectful and nowhere near professional.

Dirty. Full of roaches, toilet did not work, staff was unhelpfull and flat out do not care. This is a dirty unsafe construction zone. We reserved twp rooms for queen beds, they do not have those rooms. We called and were told renovations were complete, they were not. Other guests had the same experience. Go anywhere else. If you have reserved a room, cancel it and book elsewhere asap! Do not wait day of. All of us guests were told this place was remodeled. Do not wait to get there before you find out every other hotel is booked solid. Go elsewhere!!!!
