Very nice and helpful people working there. Its been a couple of years since ive been to this hotel and it needs some maintenance.
The girl who checked me in was efficient, and very kind. I appreciated her offering me water. I’m traveling for difficult reasons, and she made my day easier.

Terrible Smell, horrible security
Rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. Door could be pulled open since it did not latch. Had to wedge a chair under handle and use top lock for safety. This was the second room after we had to switch from the smell in the first
Our reservation was missing when we went to check in. I was able to show reservation on my phone to clerk, so we got our room and our rate eventually. The bathtub faucet dripped and the bathroom fan quit after a couple minutes of use. Though reported these issues did not get fixed.
The breakfast was amazing! The lady who handled the breakfast area was nice and very clean. The day staff was cool. We stayed 4 nights/ 3 days my hubby got food poisoning from a local restaurant. Our car broke down and in between all of this happening we never received housekeeping. And we had asked Night Shift for towel change out and toilet paper never received it. We ended up having to buy some. Just felt like Night Shift stayed on there phone or smoked the entire shift

Very uncomfortable beds! The bathroom door had a large hole on the inside.
When I checked in the room I booked was not a “real” room booked per the front staff. She was kind but could not accommodate my request for the room booked. She could not even change our rooms to a joined room because she didn’t know even if the hotel had joined rooms. Let me say that I am traveling with 4 family members and requested a suite to have us all together because I had my 84 year old, feeble grandfather with dementia with us. Expedia sold me this room as advertised with pictures of a suite having a 1 bedroom king bed and a second room with 2 queen beds and couch. I was put into two separate rooms and charged an extra $10 for having an extra person. I am trying to work with Expedia to correct the situation and false advertisement. This property is decent in the area. I am typically not a “Karen” but due to the situation of having my grandfather with me, it made the stay very difficult and unsafe. Please note that we tried to find other accommodations at the last minute after checking in but there were none available in the area. You may want to check with hotel first on rooms available and if they are “real” before booking with Expedia at this location.
I was given a standard queen instead of the queen suite i reserved and paid for so I didn't have enough beds for the number of people in my group. They offered a rollaway bed and then 40 mins of waiting told me they were all gone. When i asked for extra comforters to make a floor bed they said they were out. Family members in other rooms had zero towels in their rooms. The ice machine on the 4th floor didn't work so we had to get it from the front counter. Lastly, it smelled strongly of weed. No adjustments were made to my bill. Do not stay here if you can help it.
Very good experience. Clean room and staf was great.

We reserved a Queen Suite because we had a fourth person and needed the extra bed. For some reason, we were moved to a Queen Standard and there were no Queen Suites left. This required an uncomfortable stay for one of our party on a brutally old rollaway mattress. Also, the toilet did not work reliably. The flush mechanism seemed jury-rigged and I had to fix it myself twice.

Decent hotel, needs some work
The hotel itself was fine. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, my particular room had a bunch of broken tile in the floor of the bathroom floor (great for walking barefoot after a shower!) and the main light in bathroom did not work so it was very dark while using the shower or toilet. If these maintenance issues were resolved the room would have been fine.
The hotel itself smelled like marijuana all through the elevator, down the hallways, and the smell even crept into my room. I’m not a prude, I don’t care if you smoke marijuana but the smell all through the place kind of sucks. I was worried the smell would get on my clothing before a business meeting the next day.
Arrived and was given a room key. Went to the 4th flood and the key did not work. Returned to get the room key programmed, then back to the 4th floor. Although the card worked this time, the door was locked on the interior and we could not access it. I then returned to main level and they switched us to a different room. We then were able to finally gain access to a room. The following day, the card did not work and it had to be reprogrammed. The afternoon receptionist was less than approachable. We stay in this area quite often, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had.

Clean but starting to need some renovations especially flooring. The property was clean though and staff very friendly.
We were there for a funeral. It was easy to get to and it was clean and friendly and the breakfast was awesome

The breakfast was great! However, the room itself had some issues.. Half of my blinds were missing and there was a streetlight directly outside my window, so I had a constant light shining into my room throughout the night. The bathroom door didn't shut and the shower was not clean when I showed up.
Pool was not operational. I did not get any warning. I had booked a suite and had my 5 children with me. Pool to be able to entertain them was of high importance. I did not stay at property Luckily I found a nearby hotel to accommodate.

Clean. Wallpaper peeling. Missing art in our room. Toilet over flowed into the floor preventing us from showering.
The hotel was very clean. Our room was cleaned each dsy. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we've had at any hotel in a long time. This is an excellent place to stay.
We always stay at Holiday Inn Express. This one was one that would make me say, no more. The most upsetting thing was a roach. Our tv wasn’t working properly and Michelle came and helped us. She said this happens with all of the tv’s. She ended up getting another cord from another room. There is more but the one other time we mentioned it, we were not contacted by anyone. So why bother, right?
The employees at the hotel were very friendly and seemed very cheerful.

No towel rail in bath room, dirty rim of wash hand sink, small & cheap frige, no memo pad & pen, dirty coffe machine, narrow entrance & front lobby, etc.
