Successful Sabbatical!
This cozy home was perfect for me and my dog for an extended stay! We loved walking in HdG every day and went on several hikes throughout the area. The kitchen was well-appointed and I found everything I needed and then some! Suzanne left a bottle of wine for me, and she was responsive and made herself available for any issues/questions. I loved my time here and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for sharing your home with me!

Homey stay
Suzanne's place was very comfortable and she supplied everything you'd need. It was fun cooking in her kitchen and I was also able to work remotely as well.

Family time together
The cottage was perfect for my mama and me! Everything worked out really well.The location was great, close to everything. Having the yard was a bonus for my brother and his dog. We loved setting out on the front porch and having breakfast in the back yard. Your cottage is a beautiful place and we absolutely loved it.

Winter Snow Adorable
Cute small home in the heart of Havre De Grace! The temps dropped; lots of snow fell; creating a winter wonderland. Host was attentive, kind and took immediate care of all unforeseen winter challenges. Home well-stocked with items to make stay both comfortable and welcoming.

Wish I'd had piano lessons...
Traveling with my dogs for an event in the nearby area. The fenced yard was great and very enjoyed. The home is quaint, clean & comfortable. Suzanne has information nicely organized & was easy to communicate with. The location is close to a lot of great restaurants & things to see. Thank you for a pleasant trip experience. Wish I'd had piano lessons to be able to play the beautiful grand piano.

Quaint, picturesque cottage reminiscent of small Gingerbread Houses on Martha’s Vineyard. Great access to town!! Cozy and comfortable, loved the porch and small fenced in yard! :)

Great location!
Suzanne’s home was very cozy and the location was perfect. It was quiet, but walking distance from everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything felt very homey. Suzanne was very sweet and communicative, checking in with us to make sure we were enjoying our trip. She was also very flexible with check-in and check-out, which was much appreciated! We would stay again.

Suzanne is an amazing hostess! The house is definitely cozy and homey - not your place if you're looking for posh or minimalistic - we loved it. Easy walk to downtown with lots of shops and restaurants as well as the Promenade along the waterfront and three little parks. The kitchen has everything you could need and linens were plentiful. Would definitely stay again.

Anniversary getaway

The host communicated well. The house is modest with low ceilings, a soft bed, and a floor plan with the bathroom on the first floor and the bedroom on the second floor. The rear yard would be good for dogs. Beware of extra fees by Expedia and/or VRBO

The home is very quaint and full of beautiful antiques and unique pictures. The fenced yard was great for our dog. We have lived in HavredeGrace before and found it has not changed very much...and that is a good thing. Easy walking distance to stores and attractions

We had an overall great stay. Suzanne is very welcoming and attentive to guests’ needs. Great location - we were able to make day trips to Philly, Baltimore and Lancaster. Quiet neighborhood. Great In Town Location
We were in HDG for the weekend and were very pleased with the house and location. We walked to downtown HDG and found everything to be very close by. The house is small and cozy and Suzanne could not have been more solicitous of us. Also recommend the State Theatre and the Vintage Cafe. Also great is the tourism center that has lots of info. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Quaint older home
We had a wonderful time. The location in Havre De Grace is excellent. We enjoyed walking down to get coffee and on to the promenade each morning. Have the fenced in yard to let our dog out was extremely convenient. For those with mobility issues note the main bedroom is upstairs with a very comfortable king-size bed and the bathroom is downstairs. Also as many older homes the ceilings are low The hosts were extremely accommodating and considerate.

What a location
Suzanne was able to accommodate us for a very last-minute booking, and we were so thankful. She is very communicative and had everything ready for us. We had a wonderful stay! The house is located in the heart of town, super close to everything. The big restaurants were just a one-minute drive away. If the weather is nice, it makes for a lovely walk to things. We were happy it was a very dog-friendly home so we were able to bring our pooch. There's a nice big fenced in backyard and there was even a big bowl of water waiting for him. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook and the grocery store is nearby. We can't wait to stay again!

Cozy Hidden Gem in Havre De Grace
From the moment I pulled up I knew I was going to have a relaxing stay. Suzanne was there to meet me and was super kind and sweet. She took me in and explained the workings of the house to me and if I needed anything else to just call her. The house was charming with a decent sized back yard which was perfect for my dog Bailey. The king sized bed upstairs was luxurious and I slept amazingly while I was there. The house was close to shops and sites in Havre De Grace and I’d definitely stay there again if I’m ever in town again. Overall this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had on Vrbo and I can’t wait to visit again.

Enjoyable long weekend stay
The property was a perfect fit for my husband and me and close enough to restaurants and sites to walk. The owner was very accessible and asked prior to our arrival what our beverage of choice was for morning and evening. I was surprised to find freshly ground coffee and wine for our enjoyment. Historic Town - Great Location
We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time exploring this historic town. The house is located in the historic district,, so you could easily walk 10-15 mins. to shops, parks, restaurants, etc. Suzanne, the owner, was great to deal with. She made sure the house had everything we needed. The house is small, but it was perfect for my husband, my small dog and me. Plus, we didn’t spend a lot of time inside, as we were sightseeing most of the time. We had a great time and hope to return again in the future.

Perfect location to explore Havre de Grace
We stayed in this home, with a convenient fenced in back yard and in the4 heart of Havre de Grace for 5 days, and found it very comfortable. There water front is blocks away, as are some very good restaurants.

Graceful Stay
Suzanne was amazing and so was Havre de Grace. The town was very nice for walks and easily accessible. Great location and not far from Port Deposit which has some great food too! It was nice getting experience another part of the US in Suzanne’s house. Definitely a hidden gem.

Suzanne couldn't be nicer or more responsive. The house is charming and comfortable with a gorgeous back yard, fenced for dogs (check the front gate carefully, it is shared with the neighbors who may not always relatch it) Microwave is a well-kept secret, in the cupboard with the dishes 😂 The small fold-out bed has a mattress - tell Suzanne in advance that you're using so that it's set up for you. Walking distance to everything. 😊

Cozy and quaint home in a walkable location
We had a great time at this property. Havre de Grace is a small town with good restaurants and great outdoor activities. Also a vibrant arts scene that, unfortunately at the time, was significantly closed down because of the coronavirus pandemic. Hopefully, that will come back once the public health crisis passes. The town is within a half-hour drive of several state parks for biking, hiking, and swimming. The hosts were very accommodating and gracious. The internet supply was satisfactory. We had a major storm on the last of our stay that knocked the power supply to the house (tree limb came down on a wire). The owners responded to this situation promptly and helped us adapt. Would recommend this as a good place for a long weekend or weeklong vacation.

Just as described- great little house in a great quiet community near thexwater
The house was perfect for my husband and I along with our dog. The house was in walking distance to everything so we could park the car when we arrived and not get back in until it was time to go home. Havre de Grace is a quaint little community with cool shops and great restaurants.

Our wonderful getaway!!
We were looking for a Covid safe place to stay, that was also pet friendly while our home was being remodeled. We were so fortunate to find the perfect place. The house has so much personality and the kitchen, though small, is so well equipped. We enjoyed cooking many meals. Our dog Nellie made herself quite at home and had her very own back yard. Our hosts, Suzanne and Randy were so attentive and thoughtful. We hope to come back for a mini vacation next year. Harve de Grace is a really great waterfront town. So much history! We had a lovely stay at this charming house in Havre de Grace. It's a small one bedroom, but has a backyard (with doggie door), and also a baby grand piano, which you are more than welcome to play. The hosts, Suzanne and Randy, couldn't be better. They answered every question we had, attended to our every need (e.g., the internet was running slow and they immediately addressed it), and encouraged us to make ourselves completely comfortable. The house is in a small, quaint, quiet neighborhood, very safe. We couldn't have been happier and we highly recommend it.

Family visit home
I grew up in the area and wanted to bring my kids back to see the sites I reminisce about. I saw this listing and it just seemed perfect. Let me tell you, it was better than expected. Such a cute little place. Myself, a single mom, and my teenage daughter and tween son were entirely comfortable here. It was a great location to visit all the places I wanted to see then get back to a nice, quiet bayside town. I could not have been happier.

Perfect getaway for two
Suzanne is very tentative and generous host. The property is a perfect getaway for two - whether you want to be in the cozy, welcoming, cottage feeling house, be outside enjoying the private and beautiful backyard or walking and exploring the neighborhood or the town. It was a perfect place for a quiet rechage of our batteries. We will definitely use it for a future getaway.
