The hotel is in a 12th century castle that has been made into a 6 bedroom hotel. Baths are spacious, everything sparkling clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking right onsite.

We loved the fact that it felt like a home, so relaxing with a wonderful large lounge with various sitting areas. Totally perfect and very homely as it was unstaffed after 7pm. Even though it was unstaffed you could call a 24hour number if you needed help at all. Breakfasts were amazing choices and of an exceptionally high standard. The team of staff couldn't do enough for you, so polite and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

The property was amazing, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed the common areas and walking around the property. It is very close to St David's and was a great homebase for our adventures around Pembrokeshire.

One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had
We loved every aspect of our stay at this fantastic property. The staff was spectacularly accommodating. The property was beautiful, and historic. The breakfasts were great. It felt genuinely luxurious to stay in this beautifully restored castle. We also benefited from the electric charging facilities for our car.

Unique property
Unique place! The room, breakfast and service were all great. The only thing they need to change is recommending their sister hotel (for dinner) which is at St David’s and 10 miles away . Far better options in Solva

A perfect stay
We had the most amazing stay for our anniversary - the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the castle is just fabulous. Stunning views across the bay and watching the sunset was divine. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed an evening up in the sun room playing games and drinking wine. Breakfast was also delicious! Only recommendation is to take an eye mask as the wooden shutters let in a bit of light so I was woken by the sunrise. We will definitely be back in the future!

Gorgeous castle

We had an amazing, relaxing stay. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and could not have done enough for us. The room was stunning and beds exceptionally comfortable. The castle is beautiful and every detail has been thought about.

Traveling with a small group of three, we booked two rooms in the castle and could not have been more pleased. The staff was incredibly attentive upon check-in, providing a brief tour of the castle and its amenities before leaving us to move in and relax. The rooms were exceptional and the common areas were comfortable and inviting. I think our only regret was that our travel schedule only allowed for a one-night stay, as we all would have been very pleased to have an extra night or two in this incredibly beautiful setting.

First and foremost, the staff were welcoming, professional and helpful. I really enjoyed that while you had a private area to sleep, there were other rooms that you could either relax, entertain, or work in as needed. The beauty of the property and surrounding area are beyond compare.

What a wonderful stay. Sad it was only for one night. The staff could not have been more welcoming, remembering my requests and explaining how they were catering for me. Beautiful building and lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was really good quality and relaxing. Definitely returning.

Who wouldn't want to stay in a castle? Absolutely loved our stay, the castle is beautiful, its quiet and peaceful. Amazing renovations inside, breakfast was amazing, highly recommend the welsh breakfast. Cant wait to stay here again

Fabulous hotel, one of the best we've ever stayed in. As an architect i was curious about the renovations and they are beautiful. Already thinking of a reason to go stay there again

A marvellous place to stay! This stylish hotel is ideally located to explore the surrounding area, is extremely comfortable and quiet. Everything about the hotel suggests someone with attention to detail has carefully overseen its restoration. The staff are welcoming, friendly, but unobtrusive making our stay relaxed and most enjoyable. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
