"3 night stay for event in galena - 1br apt. everything was clean, no chemical odors (cleaners, pets, smoking, etc). plenty of space - accomodations much larger than listing picture. bed was incredibly comfortable. cookies in the lobby; we hung out and enjoyed the fire, colored, watched the projection tv. we used the game room, and workout room on the lower level. there was plenty of parking. very peaceful! absolute quiet at night. the ONLY negative was the peeling paint in the pool area...

The property sits right on the Mississippi so one can enjoy the scenery, barges going up and down and all over river traffic. You wont be disappointed in choosing to stay here. "It was a fun little cabin! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We were greeted by cows for coffee in the morning and enjoying fire at night. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and yet still close to Gelena. If you want privacy and a little adventure, this is the spot!"

There were several times my van almost got stuck and I was sliding all over the road.
