Nice and clean hotel, very nice staff and just off the main road to avoid the constant Hanoi traffic noise and horn beeping. Only slightly negative is breaky is in their sister hotel 40m up the road.

There are so many small hotels in old town Hanoi it's almost impossible to choose! I loved the Hanoi Lotus! I had a 7th floor balcony room which was wonderful. I know there are some interior rooms so make sure you choose what you want! The staff was helpful, friendly and always at reception. They booked airport transfers and a two day one night Halong Bay cruise which was great. The Lotus is in the middle of the old quarter which is where you want to be. It's walkable to everything that you will want to see and do and there are hundreds of little places to eat every few steps. I suggest taking a taxi to the French quarter but otherwise you can walk.

Great location, awesome staff - they made us up a breakfast to go when they found out we were checking out prior to the start of their breakfast. The staff also book us an airport transfer at the same price as Grab and then helped retrieve a forgotten bag from the same taxi! The balcony was huge, wished we had more time there!

We stayed here for several days while visiting Hanoi and loved this hotel! It was centrally located and an easy walk to all major attractions. The hotel room was comfortable and clean and the daily breakfast was delicious and had a ton of food options. The staff was the true standout - everyone was so helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Good location . Staff were very friendly and went the extra mile. The taxi didn’t turn up to collect us and they undercut the Grab we got on the way back. Room was a bit shabby but bed comfortable and you could hear people in the bath room next door. The breakfast is at another restaurant and was a nice addition. Good base but not luxury.

We wanted a true, authentic, old town experience where we could walk and enjoy the area. We wanted a balcony and city watch, while requiring above average standards. The hotel exceeded our expectations and then after check out, I realized I left my jacket in the closet, and the front office manager communicated with me, and went over and above to send me my jacket to Saigon. This gesture has renewed my faith in humanity! This woman demonstrated the true spirit of hospitality, professionalism, and compassion. I am so grateful for her leadership!!

A mixup over the bed selection, a single king size was provided when two twins were requested, was the only negative of the experience. The location is fantastic with easy access to major landmarks and the desk staff were helpful and spoke English well.

The shower was hard to get the temperature right and our room window looked out into the hallway and was open so it felt a little insecure. When we closed the window they opened it again. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful but in a different hotel around the corner. Overall very good value.

Had a few nights in the Lotus Boutique hotel. I was really enjoying at there. All of the things have been managed very well. The manager guy is handsome, gentle, thoughtful, and exquisite. The reception girls are really cute and the bellmen are dynamic. The type of furniture is classic and nice design. Will go back soon.

Definitely value for money! The location was great and the staff, in particular, Anna & Alex, went that extra mile to make our stay really enjoyable. We were delighted to be given an upgrade to a family room which was spacious and comfortable.

The staff was welcoming and professional. Beautiful rooms and public spaces. Glad to have a premium suite with a balcony. I also appreciate the option to use a shower after checkout before a late night flight to be more comfortable. I would stay here again and recommend.

We stayed here for two nights with a trip to Halong Bay in between. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t be more attentive/helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is spotless and smells amazing. The rooms are clean and modern and we received an upgrade to main suite on our second night with six floors. Would recommend to anyone!

We booked a cruise in Halong Bay with Anna. The cruise was very well adapted to our needs. The staff at Lotus Boutique Hotel was very dedicated and very respectful of our needs.

Most things were good
Room was a good size and well appointed even though it had no window / view. Nice shower, lots of hot water. Downside was awful Wi-Fi. Good reception staff and free maps. A taxi was arranged for us to the airport at 06:00 and was right on time for $12. Would use again
