Solid little Hanmer bach
Nice solid bach with some amazing views in a great part of Hanmer. 4 proper bedrooms with tons of beds, and extra couches for kids who like to shift in the night! Bedrooms are all on ground floor with a bathroom, living/dining room on first level with deck and a loft above living room. Loft ladder is a vertical ladder on wall with no sides and loft has no way to lock it or secure so active supervision of young kids required. Flooring has no insulation so any light sleepers will hear every footstep from living area. Outdoor hot tub is good but an extra $30 a day to use. Would recommend and happily stay again - thanks!

SISTERS WEEKEND
MY SISTERS AND I DID A SEWING CHALLANGE AT THIS BOOK A BACH. FOUND IT VERY WARM AND COSY. THE STAIRS ARE STEEP. NICE VIEW AND ENJOYED THE SUNSHINE ON SUNDAY. THANK YOU FOR A PLEASANT WEEKEND STAY.

It's a big and quiet property, good size bedrooms, two bathrooms one upstairs one downstairs, shower space is small, lounge is nice, like the balcony upstairs, has a nice view of the mountains, very warm and comfortable to sleep at night. However, the whole house can be cleaner, bedroom furniture really needs an upgrade or fresh paint over again, kitchen stove was the big problem for us it kept turning off when I were using the oven so we couldn't cook multiple dishes at the same time, it took us over 2 hours to finish cooking that could get done within 45mins, even though we made contact with Amie and she gave us tips regarding the stove, it was still troublesome. Just before we checked out, we had to clean the whole house and put everything back to where they were, that was a bit too much on top of the payment. Overall, it is an interesting experience.

18th birthday trip
Was a great place with large bedrooms and living space. Was very homely and the AC was great during the summer since it is downstairs with all the bedrooms. Close to the town but yet u feel like your in your own secluded area. Was a bit dirty as there was some vomit left on the outside of the upstairs toilet from previous occupants. As well as the vacuumes don’t work very well. But overall was a nice house especially for the very good price

Ok, but won't be back!
Disappointed in the lack of communication from the owner. Can see why the driveway is a challenge for some. No way could we get internet to work or how to get the tv to go. Very frustrating! Living area is upstairs so when in the bedrooms below could hear every footstep. Take fly spray and insect repellant as the midgies were biting!

A gorgeous family home, spacious, and great views. Unfortunately overshaddowed by poor communication from owner, despite multiple communication to have hot tub available, found this locked up. Attempted to ask multiple times about linen availability, unsuccessfully until i had to ring. Park on the street, the driveway is very short and steep

Bad driveway
Driveway into the property is a nitemare ..big pothole nearly took my exhaust off and backing out with my brakes on, I slid down onto the road …luckily there was no other car coming otherwise I would have hit it as I could not stop…VERY STEEP…There is also a lot of big (not native) ladybugs that live on the ceiling and the light shade above the table where 2 of them fell while we were eating our fish and chips .😣these bugs were here when I stayed 2 years ago and they need fumigating..they are a pest

Hanmer springs getaway.
Our time away was really nice. The house is very warm and spacious with great views and close to the township which made activities easy. However there was the odd thing that would have made some aspects easier, the induction hob took awhile to figure out once we looked over the instructions and the BBQ really struggles to have good heat as the gas flow seemed to be really low which made the cooking difficult. But overall our stay was good and it did the job for us.

Great property for a family. Very spacious and cosy. Only suggestion would be a split air conditioner upstairs as it can be very hot in summer. Would be perfect in winter or slightly cooler months. I would recommend this spacious property.

Unfortunately the communication from Amie was basically non existent apart from a message just before 7am on the day we were checking in. I had asked to add 1 adult and 2 children to our booking and never heard anything till I was sent an overdue account, this hadn't even been confirmed and then another email was required after payment to have Amie update the booking. The fridge and bin absolutely stank of fish along with the drier stinking too. The smoke alarms are all non compliant bar one which has visible heat damage, I emailed her to let her know and never had a reply which given previous communication doesn't surprise me. The hot tub goes 24/7 which can be quite loud during the night. We have stayed at properties a lot nicer or a lot cheaper. I definitely should have read the reviews before booking.

Overall, a suitable property for a quiet getaway
An older home with some recent upgrades evident. Loved the deck and hot tub. Lounge was a cozy area also. Some crumbs left around the table/kitchen area on arrival. Amie was great at communicating and accommodated our late request for the hot tub (it definitely takes an overnight period to heat up).

Rubbish bins full, had to remove recycling, couch broken, front bedroom alcove roof noisy from rain all night, access up to house quite dangerous in the wet. Poor access to parking. As a holiday home owner myself I respect a home and although the house was reasonably priced I would be reluctant to use it again.

Lovely home, comfortable beds, very very warm home!! Too hot at times, kids enjoyed the hot tub as did most the adults. If anything needs to be done, it would be new fry pans, the pancakes proved very hard to make with the ones at the house. Holidays are never long enough.

The house is much bigger than the photos show, we were nicely surprised. The beds are comfortable and bedding is great. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The hot tub is extra but worth it, great to sit in surrounded by the trees and listening to the birds.

Nice home, lots of beds, two lounges, nice hot tub. Note no fire grate (we had toddlers staying which proved an ongoing challenge). Also been freshly painted downstairs which looks great but the paint fumes were overwhelming! Be warned.

A cute place but needs a good clean and maintenance
Dissapointed we paid for hot tub after a message on the app, 1 phone call and 2 texts we got a reply after 8pm, it hadn't been turned up, it was cold stinky and not filled up properly so we couldnt even use it the first night. There's a huge mold spot above the upstairs showers and I have no idea what was up the toilet wall. There is 2 boards on the balcony that need attention. Nice view and has everything you need just needs some attention. Quite dissapointed. We left the house far cleaner then how we found it.
