Great family house
Great place for family to get together. Really appreciate being able to include Daisy our dog in our adventure. Lovely sitting on the deck taking in the scene. Hanmer great location we walked biked and relaxed. Thanks for sharing your lovely property.

Long weekend
Great cabin in the mountains. Spacious and clean, secure yard for dogs and garage for bikes. Will definitely rent anytime we go to Hanmer. Basically ideal for our family of 5 and 2 Yorkies.

Epic holiday
Quiet and peaceful part of Hanmer with epic views. Plenty of space for us and the doggos with a secure garden for them to explore. Recommend this property as it is one of the best we have stayed in!

Homely and Relaxing.
This property was a great place to relax. Was so nice to have our wee dog stay with us and be able to relax in this fuss free home. The sun drenched deck was a real treat.

Relaxing Hanmer
This is the 3rd time we’ve used properties from this owner & second time renting this property. This property is great for us - size wise with 2 seperate lounges. House is warm with loads of dry wood to fuel the wood burner. 1 of only a couple of fully fenced properties so dogs are secure. Recommend this property.

Family weekend

Truly dog friendly
We stayed here for five nights with two people in their 50s, two people in their 80s and two dogs. We loved our time in Hanmer and were blown away by the stars visible from the deck at night. The house was super spacious with two lounges, a dining area and a great outdoor area. The fire kept us warm on a number of rainy days. One thing to note is that this is a Lockwood home and can therefore be rather creaky at times. I did not give full marks for Location and Neighbourhood because very early morning logging operation across the valley woke some of us up and because some neighbours were very noisy. The property is dog friendly, and our dogs had a wonderful time. The garden is securely fenced and fully private, so even nervous dogs or escape artists would be very happy here. The best

The place was honestly great, we really rated the wood fire and the living rooms set up, the only down sides were that we were quite looking forward to a bbq but had to spend ages cleaning it before hand, seemingly the first clean in a while. And throughout our stay we encountered quite a few cockroaches in the house. Otherwise everything was great

Amazing place to stay!
We loved staying here and will be back, being child and dog friendly and well-fenced this place was so relaxing for us. Moments from the main shopping center and the pools we had everything within reach. The deck is so lovely to sit on while enjoying a coffee or wine. I loved it! Plenty of walks close by and this home is situated within a very quiet street on the hill. Highly recommend .

This place was the best spot for our weekend away, the property was spacious, clean and picturesque with the surrounding landscape, very relaxing. Owners were extremely helpful and prompt with communication. We leave with our cups full and will return!

Perfect house for large group
We had a great stay here with a group of family - lots of bedrooms, two bathrooms and two living areas means that there is plenty of space for everyone🙂 Clean and tidy and well equipped with everything you could need. Nice quiet location, walk uphill from town centre about 10mins, and lovely outlook from the house. We would definitely stay again!
