The Commons Inn is a great place to stay if you are looking solely for a home base during your travels. The room was small with a bed, fridge and desk and that was all that would fit. The front desk staff were lovely and very accommodating. Great location and easy to access.
The room was not nice like the picture. Now I did pay for the cheapest room but the picture were miss leading. Now the staff was very good! And the place was clean.

The building is old and has a charm about it, however it could use a number of upgrades for a better guest experience - replace carpets, provide coffee machines/supplies in room, cleaning under beds, pest controls/mouse traps.
It feels like a youth hostel more than a hotel. The competitive price per night is not aligned with quality of facility.
Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.
Room was dusty and dirty. Felt so unsafe as a women traveling by herself that I deadbolted the door as well as moved the fridge in front of it. Won't be staying again. However the 1 staff member I seen was nice & polite.
This old; run down hotel is undergoing partial renovation - noise starts at 7 am.
Bed comfortable, sheets and towels clean. No tv. Everything is old - mismatched, scratched furniture. No elevator. I slept and showered there but that was all.
There is very limited parking and you have to pay. The building is very old and there’s dusty construction stuff hanging around where the old reception would have been. The building is not accessible at all and there are many steep stairs to get to the rooms. No ice machine. Had to ask for extra pillows and towels- they would not be delivered to the room so you had to get it from the front desk. The tv would not work as it was and would not connect to the internet- there is no cable only chrome cast which is fine but you need the internet- staff would not help with this. The room itself was okay as the beds were comfortable but other than that this was an expensive backpackers style hostel. No room service.
Upon arrival, the staff were super friendly. Navigating the building was slightly confusing because they were undergoing renovations (I stayed in July 2025), but I was glad to see that they care to make improvements to their building. I booked a deluxe room with 1 queen bed. My room was clean, spacious, and I had no issues with the wi-fi. Unfortunately there is no on-site parking, but there was free street parking nearby/just outside of the building (I do not remember if it was free 24/7, or just on weekends when I had stayed). Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
Room was better than expected, decent bed and tv. No coffee/tea in the room.
Guy behind reception was pretty rude to another guest whilst I was checking in. Other staff were polite.
Good stay, nice street with good food/drink options.
