We stayed for 2 nights after being in cities for a week and was just what we needed. The Onsen in the room was amazing and the large room was a dream to relax in. With a family mart around the corner helped for late night snacks too.

A very cute and affordable ryokan in the highly popular Hakone hot springs area. The room was styled in traditional Japanese decor, with vaulted ceilings and tatami flooring. Futon beds and small seating area gives the feel of a traditional ryokan with the modern amenities like TV and bidet toilets. The best part of this place is the private onsen in the room! We used this multiple times during our one-night stay and relaxed in the hot water while sipping green tea. The ryokan also provides a delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast, which we highly enjoyed! A great value for your money.

Stay two nights, not one.
Stayed for two nights. Was absolutely perfect holiday since you can just relax without any pressure of doing activities since there aren't that many things to do outside of the hotel. I don't think I would have been as happy if we had stayed only for one night. Perfect for recovering from the stress of normal days.

The main building was closed due to typhoon and we were put into a smaller building right next which is not worth the amount charged. The hotel should either inform us earlier so that we could change the hotel or reduce the charge for the less attractive venue.

A gem traditional onsen resort
The stay was a delightful surprise . Love the room and the private bath. Super delicious dinner and great traditional breakfast. Lovely Japanese picture environment . However hotel close to road and car noises spoiled somewhat the private onsen enjoyment ( but room was quiet due to onsen space insulation) place not v easy to find when first arrived, and walk to closest bus stop quite tricky as there was no proper pavement and the roadside was snow-slippery. Public bath was also enjoyable but you had to walk thru snowy ground to the opposite block. But all in all a lovely and enjoyable stay . And very reasonable and good value. Cannot recommend more. Btw it’s a chain onsen resort with some history . I might be tempted to try another of its establishment next time.

Hotel is 35mins bus ride away from train station. And the bus stop is 3mins Walk and there is also a family mart nearby. Love our stay and the private onsen. Will definitely recommend to others

Enjoyable stay, balance of modern & traditional
Clean and comfortable stay, conveniently located near a family mart and the bus stop (10 minute bus ride from the hakone ropeway bus station). Facing a nice forest of trees, but the rooms near the main road can get traffic noise. The food is recommended as there aren’t many restaurants around the area, and the portions are very generous and tasty. Overall an enjoyable stay, with a good balance of modern and traditional

Amazing hotel!
Absolutely amazing place. You get your own private onsen, the food is delicious (big portions), all you can drink and big rooms. Definitely recommend two nights here.

Amazing stay at the hotel. The in house onsen was great. Comfy room, luxurious. Do select their dinners and breakfast, you wun regret it. Sticky about check in times though Bus stop within 5 Min walk outside hotel, super convenient to explore Hakone.

One the best experiences we had in Japan
The hotel is deep in the Hakone region, which we thought would be inconvenient. However, there was a bus stop right outside, a convenience store next door, and super quiet at night. It was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel only has a couple dozen rooms so it feels very home-y. The private onsen was wonderful. We had 4 baths in 2 and a half days! The room was very clean and we were provided with yukatas for lounging and to walk to the hotel shared baths. We also could go to the dinner hall in them which was convenient. Expect traditional Japanese meals which were very filling! Overall 10/10, would recommend.

New hotel , motel set up , but fit area surroundings nicely. Beautiful rooms w Japanese tatami mats on raised level , Small low table set up for tea service, kimono style robes changed daily w obi wrapped jackets & traditional 2 toed socks& slippers . Traditional Jaamese breakfasts, Public onsens& private soke tubs in each room. Only complaint was staff did mot speak much English so communication difficult & few resaurants in area seem to close very early( between 7-9). Good public bus service .

A good hotel to stay if you want to explore Hakone
A nice reasonably priced hotel. I wasn't expecting a traditional expensive ryokan. The room was comfortable, the public bath was good and the private outdoor bath in my room was excellent. The food was good and with free drink for 90 minutes the price was reasonable.

My first ryokan experience in Japan and won't be the last!!! This ryokan is super clean, very quiet and you will be greeted by super-friendly staff. My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights and had two breakfasts and one dinner at this ryokan. Delicious meals come with a variety of drinks, including Japanese coffee, beer and sake. I loved the fact that we had private open-air bath in our room and we could also go to the public bath until 1am. There are so many places to go nearby and 7/11 (open 24hrs) just a minute away!!! We enjoyed our stay at this ryokan and can't wait to go back!

굉장히 만족스러운 료칸. 하코네유모토에서 조금 멀리 떨어져 있지만 조용하고 느긋하게 쉴 수 있었습니다. 숙소는 사진으로 보는 것보다 더 넓고 아늑했습니다. 각 방 마다 있는 노천탕은 매우 만족. 석식과 조식도 정말 맛있었습니다.
