Don't expect too much as you are paying for what you get. Relatively old building. It's comfortable and location wise near JR station and close to morning market.

Super old and tiny.. stayed in much cheap hotel in japan but this is the smallest oldest but not the cheapest.. price doesnt proportion to the quality of the hotel.

Highly recommended to try this budget friendly hotel. Eventhough rooms are small but they are clean & well-maintained, besides you don't expect to have a big room for its price. The location is excellent, within few steps from main train station & morning market. Staff are very friendly & helpful

Value for Money
The hotel is just a few minutes walk from Hakodate Station, and it's on a side road of the main road directly leads to the station - very convenience. The morning market is just next to the station too. Room condition is average, but not too small for us. Overall, value for money.

The room was spacious - unusually large for a Japanese hotel. It's very close to the train station, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores in within a minute or two walk.

Nice central hotel close to JR station. Comfortable beds, good value. Helpful employees, they were able to hold my luggage for the day after checking out.

Near JR Hakodate Station, poor customer service
Hotel staffs wasn’t helpful, couldn’t converse well even in simple English. Room is old but cleanliness is acceptable. Nice guesture of leaving a welcome note on the table, good for short term stay. I left my apple charger in the room before I leave for tokyo. On that day, I asked my Friend who can speak fluent Japanese to call and check with the hotel. Called multiple times, no one wants to assist. 3 days later, the staffs told me is not at the hotel room but I’m pretty sure I left it behind in their hotel. did not get immediate assistance when help is needed. Poor customer service and unpleasant experience I received from this hotel. Very disappointed.

Ok stay for a night.
Ok stay for a night if you don’t plan most of ur trip in the hotel. The building and room are slightly dated and have grayish atmosphere. It is quite odd for me to have bathroom wall against bed head. The location is quite good - close to the station.

Good location hotel
Good cheap hotel in a good location to the station which was perfect for us travelling. Room size was fine but downside was drilling outside the window in the morning that woke us up. Can't be helped by the hotel though so I would recommend for short trips. It might get a bit cramped if staying for a long time.

Small, convenient, great for a quick stay
Super close to Hakodate station (not the shinkansen station, but about 20 minutes from it on a train). Small but decent room, could do with a bit of repainting etc but nothing major. Only problem I had was that the walls were very thin and in my bed I could feel the person in the next room hitting/shaking the wall. Noise wasn't a big deal, but you could physically feel it. So maybe pull your bed away from the wall a little before sleeping.

This hotel is very near to the JR Hakodate station, the tram and also the fish market. It is a bit old but the room is complete and they also put in a phone with internet in case for those who doesnt have internet to walk around with. Overall if they refurbish it would be an even better hotel.

Hotel is located in a relatively run-down area, but it's very close to Hakodate station and city centre. The room is very clean but small just like any other Japanese business hotels.

The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is right at city centre which is easy access to all place of interests easily. The size of room is not big and I will recommend others to stay here.

The room is pretty large, compared to most hotels in Japan. Hotel guests are allowed to smoke at the lobby. The hotel looks old (like 1980s style). There are insufficient sockets. The bathroom is too humid. Perhaps it's because the exhaust fan does not work well.

Good location but don't expect too much
This hotel is in a good location within walking distance to JR Hakodate station. It is quite old and dated. The door handle on our room felt like it was about to come off (and there is only one lock on the door). We also had a bad experience trying to do our laundry there. The washing machine and the dryer do not lock when in use. I left my clothes in the dryer and when the time was up I returned to find my clothes in a basket on the side- someone must have taken it out and used the dryer time which I had paid for! A 2 hour laundry session ended up taking about 4 hours in total.

Conveniently located hotel with the basics
Close to Hakodate station and consequently the markets and streetcar/tram stop. The room itself is basic and not particularly large, but has the basics including a bathroom and kettle. There's a communal microwave in the lobby (24 hours), and laundering facilities. Overall, I was quite happy with it and would consider again.

Convenient quick stay hotel
Relatively small but a well organized basic room with necessary amenities in place. One block off the Main Street but close proximity to both the station and local restaurants shops needs.
