The chairs in our room are absolutely filthy. The shower has a coating of something black on the bottom and the room smells of mildew. The room is also so humid it's surprising that there is not visible mold somewhere.

This property is beautiful, quiet, and within a great distance from all of the great places that the coast has to offer. They even have a water park on the grounds for ALL ages so if you want to make a day out of you really can enjoy yourselves. It’s a safe environment and everyone is super friendly. The rooms were updated and Clean. I can’t wait to book a trip here again with my family.

Great stay!!! The staff was so warm and friendly. Made my kids and I feel so welcome. The only thing I hated was the people next to me were loud alllll night with music cursing slamming doors etc.

Property grounds are beautiful. Access to the beach is good, but the waterpark area is perfect. Not too big, feels private. Buildings are lit at night and the fountain is amazing. Definitely coming back.

Loved the classic Southern style and architecture of the Centennial Plaza! Not much around when it comes to shopping or restaurants within walking distance of the resort, so renting a car or planning to use a ride share service is recommended. The pool is beautiful but if choosing this resort for that, note that doesn’t open until March which I hadn’t seen in the advertising on Expedia. I was bummed to find that out, however, the resort is right across from a beautiful beach so I was able to still enjoy the water and sunshine! Expedia also says that there is a fitness center on-site, but I was not able to find that either. The fountain was one of my favorite places to sit and relax during the day, and at night I loved watching the fountain light up and dance with the music! All of the staff was incredibly kind and made it such a memorable stay! Thank you for a lovely trip!!

Beautiful, but tough for short
It's a beautiful hotel, and the staff is very friendly and accomodateing. I'd recommend it more for recreational travel than business. The property is huge and you need to go to one bldg to check in, a long walk to the place you stay, the gym (which really is not functional) is a totally different building, and breakfast a totally diff building. No bottled water or convenience items until 4pm when the bar in the main area opens. Staff is accomodating, but there are not many of them and they aren't in every building.

Our room was very spacious with comfortable beds. The major drawback was such poor ventilation from the bathroom fan that the tile floor in the bathroom and room entry stayed puddled with water. We showered in the morning and when returned to our room after 8pm the floors were covered in water despite us having used our towels to dry the floor prior to leaving

How to irritate a weary, hungry traveler
The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The area was quiet, so slept well. My real complaint after traveling across the country and arriving at 8:30 pm was, being told at check in that the two restaurants were open until 10 pm. No so, walked over to one. Closed Walked back to the other one, and the waitress informed us the kitchen was closed.
