The location is OK, practical for my purpose. The room was quiet, but very dark, very little lighting. Pillows are terrible.

Great location and quiet near self park and restaurants and shopping, plus one if the most impressive massive middle ages Gothic cathedrals ... larger than Notre Dame in Paris with Marc Chagall Windows.

Great location, cosy hotel
Just next to the SNCF Grenoble station and Tram. Very convenient for late arrival or early leave. Close to the city center by taking Tram. Front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful to me. Standard room not so spacious. Bed is comfy though. The down side is the bath room, the shower wall blocked the light, the shower drain is clogged, I had to stand in the dirty water while showering.

Loved the location - directly across from the train station and car rental places nearby. Quick walk to the Grenoble bubbles. Wish the rooms or at least lobby had AC but that's the American in me! Otherwise very clean, large TV (enjoyed watching World Cup and TdF coverage).

Comfortable
I chose the hotel because of its location. It is comfortable and the room was nice and clean. However, upon arrival I was told that my reservation had been cancelled and that the hotel was fully booked. I still do not understand how that was possible since I had not contacted the hotel at any point. In the end my reservation was found and I was given a room; but it gave origin to an uncomfortable feeling for the whole stay.

Arrogant and Cocky Staff
Staff unwilling to listen to suggestions for improvement and passive aggressive. I would either fire them or at least retrain them. This includes the van drivers.

Okay, if you can get it cheap
Check in was minimal, surprised to not have to sign anything and the door was initially locked until we rang the bell outside. Room small but reasonably comfortable. Worst was the bathroom which looked like it had been designed by an idiot. The shower had no screen on one side so it couldn't be used without soaking the sink area and the floor. Breakfast was okay, fairly minimal again. I wouldn't probably stay again unless it was cheap, it was very handy for the station.

This is a basic hotel. No frills or extras. Good location across the street from the train station, but do not expect anything else. Staff was friendly.

WiFi is extremely bad, difficult to connect and very unstable. For the first night I took a shower and found they forgot to put any towels in my room... The weather was very hot during my stay and they turned off the air conditioner of my room completely when I was out. The weak air conditioner took half an hour or so to re-cool the room. Out of the window there is a big air conditioner or ventilation system, generating noise even during night. Breakfast is bad too, with very little choice. The fruits were clearly not fresh.

I found hair in the sheets which was worrisome, the staff appeared constantly irritated when I asked a question. They weren't always at their desk. Breakfast is insanely priced for what it is. For 11 euros they should have cold juice (not room temp) and they should have some warm options. Not just cereals and breads... It's convenient. The room (when clean) is perfectly fine. Great location. Good wifi.

It was almost good. However, I felt one no good point. That is a noise of upper floor room. When the guest walked in the upper room, it sounds so much. I think the sound absorbing material between floors is not enough. I hope the reduction of it will make your guest more comfortable.

Badly run hotel
Not what I expected from a Best Western Hotel. Biggest gripe is that the hot water the following morning was too chilli for a pleasant shower. I reported that, and appart from telling me to let the water run longer (I did, 5 min), they were neither particularly appologetical, or about to do something about it. Beyond that: There was nobody at reception most of the time. There was cleaning products and dirty linnen left in the lift The lift was up a set of steps, so could not roll luggage, and the staff were not about to help anybody with those steps.

Mostly convenient
Adjacent to Grenoble train station. No frills, clean, pleasant if a bit pricey for this level hotel. Neighborhood is noisy all night if you like the windows open. If you are looking for character, stay in the city center. If you want a decent place to stay within a stone's throw of the train station, this will be fine.

This was a well-located hotel for train travelers, but it was very dreary and the rooms were small and very basic. We could not recommend it.

Convenient location, average hotel
This was my third visit to the Best Western Hotel Terminus in the past five years. The best things about the hotel are: the friendly, helpful staff; the close proximity to the Grenoble railway station (about 300 yards away, and well within sight from the station); and the free wireless internet. They offer a breakfast buffet for about 11 Euros, and that is a good value compared to my experiences at other European hotels. Also, the hotel is within easy walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants, and city public transportation. On the downside, the hotel's rooms are comfortable but in need of update, and they are small by American standards.

We chose this hotel for it location being close to my meeting and Railway Station. That worked out fine. The near by restaurants are ok but mostly Asian. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the more interesting places in town. All in all quite adequate but could use more upgrading of rooms

Very acceptable hotel.
Hotel was in the process of being renovated. This didn't intrude on our enjoyment though. Our roon was lovely with a view overlooking the Street and train station and a cute little balcony. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Bonjour, votre note équivaut à une insulte pour le service rendu. Votre réservation était pour une chambre avec un lit double, mais par manque de disponibilité, vous avez eu une chambre avec 2 lits beaucoup plus spacieuse que celle réservée. Un 2/10 est une insulte pour la qualité de notre hôtel. Cela nous attriste d’avoir des clients tels que vous que nous ne méritons pas.

Vetuste, pauvre, mauvais gout, mal entretenu, radins... cher... le prix devrait être 40 € max, j'ai payé 104.55 €. C'était la seule disponibilité près de la Gare, devant passer la nuit à Grenoble suite à suppresion de ma correspondance à cause de la grève SNCF. Chambre sans mobilier (le minibar posé sur un tabouret), pas de lumière au wc, lampes grillées dans la chambre, aucun élément décoratif, juste un lit, une petite table et deux chaises... c'est un vieux hôtel qui s'est arreté après la 2ème guerre mondiale... et il est resté comme ça. Lugubre
