Very noisy
Too much noise at 7 am in the morning . Kids screaming and stuff . Must avoid this place . In a middle of no where so hard to find this place and no fan or ac in the room And very expensive . Never again

Booked to play tennis and golf but amenities was closed. Poolbar is listed but its just a fridge with selv service and some beers if you are lucky.

It was very quiet, away from noise the service was very good, the room was spacy with very comfortable beds, the bathroom also the same, and the staff very friendly, smiley and helpful.

A unique experience
A unique, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff, delicious breakfast, good wifi. It also has a swimming pool, golf course and tennis court.

Quirky
Unusual hotel, very quiet and relaxing - loved the pool area. I would have liked a desk on which to work and tea/coffee making facilities in room. Note that there is nowhere to eat in the hotel and it is a short walk to the golf clubhouse where you can get food - although as a single female I didn't fancy a walk in the dark, somewhere unfamiliar, where I didn't speak the language to get something to eat.

A hotel with distinction
A very charming hotel offering secluded feel. The surrounding areas are not nice, but you are completely excluded from the surrounds by the mature garden. The swimming pool is good (large and deep), but too cold in December even for Northern people.

This is a small, quiet hotel set in what can only be described as an oasis of peace in a gradually encroaching urban development around the protective Golf course and other sports facilities. It appears to be an old building with beautiful old furniture and vegetation set out to appear as a family stately home. All the staff we met in our short overnight stay were lovely people and made us feel very much at home. The evening meal was simple and good and served to us in a cosy enclosed terrace down the side of the building. The only thing that went wrong was that the early breakfast we needed for catching a 6.30 am flight did not materialise at all - or we couldn't find it? I am sure this was a mistake and it would certainly not stop us using the hotel again nor recommending it to friends & family.

Hotel Rural Cortijo San Ignacio Golf
18th century ex monastary and bodega, with walled, shaded courtyards. Beautiful quirky furnishings and decorations, some looking as though they are renovated originals. Outside swimming pool and seating. Good, helpful, friendly staff. Very clean, well furnished bedrooms and bathrooms. Relaxed, calm atmosphere, very quiet and gentile. Good breakfast buffet. Only down side was difficult to find, and the immediate area, mostly not visible from the hotel, was not particularly attractive. About 15 mins drive from the airport.

The hotel is beautifull. An old monastry and latent mansion. Quit and tranquillo. It is worth mention that there is only breakfast available and nearest shopping possibilities are far away. The breakfast could certainly be better. Only discount products are served. Personly I would prefare to pay more for better quality. The hotel has potentiality for being much better.

Hotel con con mucho a mejorar, una pena tener una experiencia tan regular en un sitio tan bonito... el entrono y la infraestructura en si son muy bonitos pero la comodidad que al final es lo que cuenta ya no es nada bonito.... habitaciones NO CLIMATIZADAS ni aire ni ventilador, colchones de muelles que se sienten y hacen ruido, tele antigua con imagen deteriorada, bañera manchada en fin estado de abandono y carisimo no volveré. 135 euros una habitación en esas condiciones es un autentico abuso.

Altehrwürdiger Familiensitz in ehem. Kloster mit sehr schön angelegtem Außenbereich, alten Bäumen und großem Pool. Nur ca. 20 Zimmer. Historie ist überall spürbar. Früher Golfhotel, heute ist das Green nicht mehr in Betrieb. Das schöne Städtchen Telde ist in 1 Stunde zu Fuß -etwas mühsam - erreichbar, per Taxi nur € 5,- (2023)

Ett mycket trevligt hotell med väldigt vacker inredning. Nära golfbanan, men man behöver ta taxi till restaurangerna.

si eres miedoso no vayas entre semana.
Una muy mala experiencia. Fui al hotel por trabajo un jueves. Me encontré con un hotel grande en el que sólo había una persona. NO tienen una recepción si no que te pasan a un despacho. Me dieron lasa llaves del hotel. En el hotel no hay para cenar. Si eres miedoso no lo recomiendo, pasar una noche sólo en un sitio así no es agradable.

Selve hotellet levede op til forventningerne. MEN: Da jeg bestilte værelset på Expedia - var jeg overbevist om - og betalte for det dyreste af de to hotelværelsestyper - for at få et stort værelse. Det fik vi ikke ! I rejsepapirerne fra EXPEDIA står er eksplicit at man kan afkorte opholdet såfremt at hotellets regler tillader det. Da vi henvendte os til personalet fik vi at vide at hvis vi havde bestilt værelset direkte på hotellet var det muligt. Men da det var via EXPEDIA og en 3.parts arrangør (som jeg ikke kender til) var det ikke muligt. Da jeg kontaktede EXPEDIA - var det kun muligt at få kontakt til engelsk talende kontaktcenter som blot bekræftede at der var 3.part involveret i reservationen og at det ikke kunne ændres Jeg sidder tilbage med fornemmelse af at jeg ikke fik hvad jeg bestilte og betalte for - og at EXPEDIA ikke vedstår sine egne rejsebeskrivelser Med venlig hilsen Per Leth Hansen

Beautif old hotel.
Beautiful old house in a peaceful, quiet setting. Old trees in the garden with birds & butterflies. Beautiful bedrooms, but the little carpets by the bedside need to be changed or done away with. Otherwise an exceptional hotel with an attached golf course.

Bien si buscas tranquilidad
Realmente buscabamos un Hotel en Las Palmas, pero estaba todo completo y terminamos aqui, no esta mal, es un Hotel Rural en toda regla, comodo, tranquilisimo y poco más, incomodo si quieres ir a Las Palmas, por la distancia etc. Ventajas, es un Hotel Rural en una casa señorial bastante bien cuidado, las habitaciones son sencillas, algo frias, pero en general limpia y comoda. Si buscas tranquilidad es tu lugar... Personal escaso pero muy atento. Desventajas: Distancia a la Ciudad, esta un poco apartado, por lo que tienes que coger coche si o si, el desayuno, en un comedor con una mesa muy bonita pero comun a todos (excepto 3/4 mesitas ocupadas por los más madrugadores...) y muy basico, no habia zumo natural, solo tostadas, algo de fiambre y unas magdalenas... a mi en particular me hubiera gustado algo más de dulces. No habia posibilidad de cenar en el propio Hotel, ... En lineas generales un hotelito comodo y muy tranquilo

Vill man ha lugn och ro i en fantastisk miljö är det rätt ställe. Man bör dock ha bil för det ligger väldigt enskilt. Ett minus, i och med att det bara serveras frukost, är att det inte finns kylskåp på rummet.

En flott opplevelse å bo på denne gamle "herregården" for oss som liker de spesielle hotellene. Det eneste minuset var at det var litt vrient å finne frem. Vi måtte kjøre gjennom et lite industriområde, men da vi fant det var resten vedig positivt.

Cet hotel qui est une vielle propriété familiale très ancienne est difficile d accès mais d un très grand calme. Chambre très propre ainsi que que les parties communes. Le buffet de petit déjeuner est varié et copieux. Un bémol la distance jusqu'au restaurant qui aura la mérite de vous metres en appétit.

7 Tage immer nur das Gleiche. Vier Sorten Wurst und manchmal auch eine Scheibe Käse. Leider keinerlei Abwechselung. Zu ersten Mal in Urlaub mit Silberfischlein (lebend) im Bett verbracht. Im Badezimmer an der Decke unzählige erschlagene Moskitos. Lage. Wenn man wies, dass es in der Region nur ein Hotel gibt, hat man gute Chancen es zu finden.

Vi ble møtt av en kjempevennlig og service minded resepsjonist, som utover kvelden også var kelner og entertainer. Sang bursdagssangen for meg på spansk, med tilhørende gitarspill. Noe han bare gjorde ved spesielle anledninger!Frokosten om morgenen var god, og stemningen upåklagelig. MEN: Middagen stod langt ifra til forventningene. Vi visste på forhånd at de ikke hadde en restaurant, men at vi kunne forhåndsbestille fisk eller kjøtt. Vi bestilte en typisk kanarisk meny, med suppe, fisk og dessert. Suppa var smakløs, fisken var tørr og smakløs, greide ikke å spise den. Desserten var en ferdigkjøpt " flan" karamellpudding. Men siden personalet var så imøtekommende og hyggelig, så ville vi ikke klage.Synd at en så fin plass har et så dårlig kjøkken! Det hadde vært bedre om de hadde spesialisert seg på en eller to bestemte menyer, men som var gode.vi vil gjerne komme tilbake, men da må nivået på maten bli bedre.Skulle feire bursdag, og da er jo middagen en viktig del av dette.Maten var rimelig, 25 euro pr pers. Ville heller betalt det doble for å få god mat! Restr Cortijo lå bare 1 km unna, der spiste vi deilig lunsj. Men de er stengt på kvelden

veldig sjarmerende, men man trenger bil
Hotellet var sjarmerende, stille og deilige forhold innen for "murene".Hadde det deilige svømmebasenget helt for oss selv. Hyggelig personale men tilbudet om middag en kveld var mislykket. Maten var direkte usmakelig/vond. Vi savnet en god restaurant i nærheten. Uten bil var vi temmelig lost. Følte oss "in the middle of nowhere". Har man bil kan vi anbefale hotellet på det sterkeste.

Frukosten måste ha dagsfärskt bröd. Den bör även innehålla större utbud av frukter o pålägg. Anläggningen är fantastisk o miljön underbar.

Läget är bara bra om man ska spela golf. Vill man ha lungt o skönt i trevlig miljö är hotellet perfekt. Vill man ha puls, mycket folk o mer traditionell hotell miljö så är detta hotell inte rätt.

Attractive old-world Spanish hotel next to golf
Hotel is a very attractive old-ish but renovated country house style Spanish building in its own grounds. It is right next to a golf course, so it is also ideal for golfers (although I found the green fees quite expensive, and the course is closed for maintenance every Monday afternoon). In accessing the hotel from the motorway you drive through a pretty unattractive area, which makes you wonder about what the hotel will be like, but once there, it is very nice. It also has a swimming pool and an attractive adjoining partially covered area with comfortable sofas and chairs and with a small pantry containing all sorts of drinks, which is a great area for relaxing. You need either a car or use taxis for access since it is not within walking distance of a town, shops or buses. Given those limitations, it is certainly to be recommended.
