Great location! Service and amenities were very average. I was expecting a bit more because my friend and her husband stayed in a Scandic in Stockholm and it was one of the coolest hotels!

This hotel was perfect for our trip to Gothenburg. It’s perfectly located right opposite the coach station, near the tram stop and next to a shopping mall. It is in the heart of the city with everything close by. The check in experience was easy, the room and facilities were good, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the included breakfast each morning. I wish we had stayed longer and given me more time to try out their pool and spa features but maybe next time. Excellent overall, genuinely can’t fault it.

Our room facing courtyard was very quiet. Buffet was largest we've experienced. Room was small and needed a little bit of maintenance; ie, broken lamp.

Very friendly helpful staff. Handy for transport to and from airport and very central. Very clean and well maintained. Only downside was no access to kettle in room.

OUTSTANDING hotel. Exceptionally well located. Breakfast buffet was amazing! Options for every one. Melt in your mouth scrambled eggs. Meats galore. Fantastic oranges. Incredibly convenient location for train and mall use. Can not say enough!

Room was very small. No refrigerator and no coffe pot. No place to put your luggage and no place to store your clothes except in your suitcase on the floor. Heating/ cooling could not be adjusted except for extra heating units.

A fantastic location & facility. Of course breakfast was excellent. My only critique is of the sauna…it wasn’t hot or had to heat up - given the hour long sign up slots unable to experience a true sauna. The pool was fun. Very much appreciated the bicycle for use. Thank you Scandic in Göteborg.

Very easy access to the bus stop from the airport. Easy check in, excellent breakfast, nice bar with great music. Well located in the city and we couldn’t fault it in any way.

2 days in Gothenburg
2 day stop in Gothenburg for work. Very accommodating hotel, as I wasn't arriving till after midnight. Friendly, helpful staff, very clean and tidy, and amazing breakfasts!!

From reading the reviews i didn't know what to expect, but it had exceeded my expectations. Even at a midnight check in they were able to offer me a room that catered for my needs. The bar is a fantastic atmosphere on an evening, along with the restaurant, albeit a small menu. You have 3 major tram and bus terminals outside the hotel, along with central station just over the road. The environment is safe and friendly. Plenty of shops for convenience, along with a massive shopping centre attached to the hotel. I was warned that if renovation noise was a problem they would happily move me, but i did not hear a noise from the builders during my stay. There was a constant generator sound but i assume this is the AC/heating system, but wasn't a massive issue. I wil be back and i will refer anyone to Scandic Europa.

Room was a bit run down, bathroom fan could not be turned of and was a. noisy, temperatur could not be regulated in room and was too cold for me, and pool was 26-27 degrees which is a bit chilly to just hang out in. Food and restayurant good

Nice property in a convenient location. We had a rental car, so really appreciated the reserved parking in the connected mall's garage, but also ideally suited for train travelers as the central train station is directly across the street.

The bathroom was very dirty, had to ask them to come and deep clean it twice but still no good. Bed was super uncomfortable, after two nights my back is completley destroyed.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel ideally situated for huge shopping mall right next door and is only short walk to town and visitor attractions.

This hotel is very central and very convenient. Our room was a little tired decor-wise but everything worked fine and the beds were soo comfy. So handy for public transport which really made our holiday - so easy to get wherever you wanted. Breakfast has a huge variety of foods on offer. It also has a large bar area which we didn't have time to explore. A huge modern shopping centre is adjacent to this hotel. It really is all you need on a city break.

We had such a great time. This hotel rocked Metallica music the entire time while the concert was in town. Bar staff was friendly and accommodating. Front desk was helpful and the food was great. Location is central to everything Gothenburg! Can't wait to go back.
