The Comfort Hotel City was perfect for 3 nights. 5 minute walk from the train station. Right next to plenty of shops, bars & restaurants. Nice breakfast. Great shower. Lovely staff. Comfy bed. Only possible issue for some might be the rooms are small.

This is a convienent basic no frills hotel in the centre of Gothenburg. The staff and really great and helpful, the breakfast is large and they have gluten free options (that I require). The hallways were a little bit dirty but rooms - although tiny - serve their function. Not a luxury stay and I wouldn't spend more than a night there - but does teh trick in a efficient way

Pretty decent
Convenient location and decent breakfast. The room - and especially the shower - are small - not even room for a chair. But I would stay again for a work trip as easy to get to and from and helpful staff. Grubby carpets and scruffy lounge area could be improved

Great Little Hotel!
We arrived early in the morning before our room was ready. The hotel staff stored our luggage and allowed us to eat breakfast. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Not large, but it was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Eggs and fruit of various modes. Crepes, yogurt, sandwich fixings, croissants, milk, tea, smoothies, lactose and gluten free items. If that wasn't enough there is a cute little bar with snacks in the evening. And, a kitchen if you want to cook your own food or keep items in the fridge. The hotel is centrally located to shopping, restaurants, sight seeing, and transportation.

Excellent Hotel
Location: Great location. Walking distance from a lot of tourist attractions. Nordstan Shopping Mall @ 5 minutes distance which has a McDonalds, Burgerking & Pizzahut. Subway & KFC close by as well. Check In Process: Very fast and efficient. Room: The room was quite small for two people & we had a bunk bed but we did not mind that at all. Cleaning Service was once every 4 days or on request which was fine for us as well. Breakfast: Good options like Bacon, Sausages, scrambled eggs, cereals & a variety of breads & fruits. Check Out: Very fast and efficient. Conclusion: We had an excellent holiday & will definitely stay here again.

Excellent Hospitality
Lovely little hotel. Basic but very clean and although the food choice is limited, it's very good. What always draws me back to this hotel are the staff. Always welcoming and friendly. This makes a massive difference when you're away for work on your own.

stayed in single room for one night. very modern hotel and rooms with a great lobby for relaxing. friendly staff. small room space but fine for the individual traveler. lots of street noise and bass music from nearby shops until 11p so if you're a light sleeper not the best for you.

Adequate but not exceptional
Adequate for a short stay in Gothenburg, this hotel was clean but the rooms are quite small. They accommodate two people in each room by means of a pull-down upper bunk bed. The bathrooms (actually just shower rooms) were very small and my shower door did not prevent water from flowing out into the rest of the bathroom. Absence of a hairdryer was slightly annoying, and the poor TV reception (even on the Swedish channels) was intermittent and even more annoying. However I slept well both nights and the breakfast (like everything else about the hotel) was OK, but not exceptional.

Staff was so friendly, and the hotel was so cozy on those raining cold winter nights. I like also that the hotel has an eco-certification. I'd go back anytime!
