Hotel Royal is an older hotel, although it has had some renovations. It's a little run-down at the edges, but for the money and "all inclusive" aspect, it is well worth the stay. The food was a cut above what I have experienced at other all inclusive resorts; and plenty of "snack times" during the day plus good local beer, wine and liquors from a bartender who had a very free pouring hand. The room was adequate, with a good A/C system, great view (everyone either has a pool or sea view), plenty of channels on the TV (in various languages) and decent toilet/shower. Staff was helpful although their English was basic. It is in a good location less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and tons of cafes, restaurants, clubs and and boutiques closer by.

Its the most terrible hotel, they are lyers and they do not have 4 stars. At first they try to present the hotel for the other hotel in the center of the town showing some pics from the real hotel. The real name of this hotel is not the Royall the true name is Royall beach hotel. The try to attempt to lye everybody.

They were working on the hotel and during breakfast we were listening to machines chip up tiles which was not very relaxing to say the least. The spa services were nice and reasonably priced. It was a beautiful location and over all a pleasant stay.
Loved this hotel. Felt like home. Great design, great pool (there's an outdoor one and an indoor one), and the staff was super friendly. Had a couple of issues but they were small:
Food was the same everyday and a little variety would have been nice, the bathtub in the room could have been larger, and the bartender looked like he didn't want to be there at all. Also, the lights in the room, while they were a nice yellow color, could have been brighter or adjustable, as there were times when I couldn't see anything in the room at night. I would also have loved strong WIFI in the hotel but it was largely only available in the lobby.
But overall, it was a superb experience and I would suggest it over any of the larger hotels closer to the beach. It was snuggled a small distance from the beach, which I appreciated, and the design of the hotel was super nice. Give it a try!
We only stayed 1 night, passing through Varna.
Spotlessly clean and very friendly hotel. Staff can't do enough to help and the breakfast was great.
At just over £30 for B&B (double room) this was exceptionally good value for money.
We were collected at the airport by the owner, Georgi, as part of the service offered by the hotel. No hanging about negotiating with taxi drivers, a luxury Mercedes and straight to the door. Cost 50 lev (about £23-4) for 3 of us which may seem pricey but well worth it for the sheer lack of hassle, comfort and the friendly helpful welcome from the owner.
He also offers competitive car hire so speak to him if you're interested.
