Good for an overnight stay!
The main challenge was finding the hotel - it is not EASY! We asked a total of four local people - only ONE could direct us correctly. This was exactly the same situation as in Laval. The staff were excellent.

A plaxe to crash after a long drive
Searching for a room at the half way point of our two day drive. That was what I found...a place to sleep with food on the premises. If you will accept clean bare basics in your room, than this is for you.

Usual campanile ‘ does what it says on the tin ‘ made more pleasurable by the wonderful staff attitude . Veronique was so helpful and really friendly providing late check in details and even ensuring I had milk for the strange English habit of putting it in tea :-) Good parking, safe quiet location, easy reach from the motorway

Great for an overnight stay and Amiens is a good place to look round. This was our third stay there as it is convenient when travelling up France to catch the ferry at Zeebrugge. A great welcome and a really good choice at breakfast. On this occasion we did not look at the sights apart from the outside of a couple but we looked round on a previous visit.

Good hotel, convenient for visiting Amiens
This is our second stay at this hotel - the rooms are clean and well furnished and include tea and coffee making facilities. The parking is very close to the rooms and the restaurant serves a good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. The town of Amiens with its impressive cathedral is a short drive away. In addition, when we visited, the temperature was 38° so we were very grateful to be able to cool down in the air conditioned room!

Well priced transit hotel
Useful economy hotel for one or two night stay. Small rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Half a dozen restaurants within 300 yards. We eat in the hotel and found the food excellent. Breakfast was good too. It’s in the industrial estate of Glisy but that wasn’t an issue. Right next to major roads to the east of Amiens so good access to or from The east or Paris.

A great hotel
We enjoyed our night at this hotel in Amiens. It was in a quiet location and the rooms were newly decorated, spotlessly clean and had everything required for comfort like cushions, a kettle, sachets, hairdryer and new modern bathroom suite. The breakfast was excellent. The buffet had hot and cold food- a great variety - as well as juices and hot drinks. The people running the hotel were very friendly, helpful and hospitable.

I only stayed 1 night. I wasn't expecting much but the smell made it difficult to stay in the room.

Clean hotel and lovely breakfasts.
While it was a very comfortable stay, over the four days, there always seemed to be something missing from our room. Two days no milk, one day no spare toilet roll, no bath mat, and during one night the vent over the bath fell off the wall and woke us up with quite a fright. On the Wednesday, my husband had a steak meal, but the steak was so tough it was inedible. My husband couldn't eat it, and a complaint was made to the waiter, but we were still charged full price for it, which was disappointing.

This is a motel not hotel.
We stayed at thishotel just to break our long journey from Germany. From the picture presented online the hotel looked pretty decent but when we saw where we were staying our hearts sank.

Great for stopover stay
Great stopover hotel when travelling through northern France. The rooms are very clean. There is secure parking, and plenty of restaurants around the home. The hotel restaurant looked great, although we did not eat there. Will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable stop over

Basic hotel, great breakfast
A pretty basic hotel but good value. The breakfast buffet was a little on the expensive side, but was well worth it. Staff suggested we should have had reservations for breakfast and dinner, but these were not really necessary.There are a few places to eat/shop within easy walking distance, so the location is quite convenient, especially if you are heading to the airport (Amiens).

The location was vey hard to find due to the lack of signs & not enough information on the web. It was OK but the two kids playing football outside are room ment that we could not have an afternoon nap. The restuarant was very good, the room had a noise that sounded like water filling up! This went on all day at around every 5 mins intervals. Would stay again if these issues could be fixed

Consistent and reliable every time.
The chain of hotels, Campanile, can always be relied upon to provide good clean accommodation, good food and a welcome for all travellers with pets. No fuss, no restrictions and the I never stay anywahere else when travelling to shows on the continent.layout provides an ideal surrounding for exercising your pet.

Excellent service from reception staff
Very helpful and informative staff. Good location to visit the various Somme sites. Convenient stopping-off point for returning to the UK via Calais. Very clean room. Comfortable restaurant with reasonable choice of menu. Within walking distance of large shopping mall, with all the necessary facilities.

Clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful.
Cheap but clean and comfortable hotel which made a good stop off point on the return trip from the Vendee back to the East Midlands. Took about 1 hr 30 next morning to get to Calais. Also good location for short visit to Somme Battlefield Memorials which was a moving experience and something I had always wanted to do. Reception staff very helful and courteous and the ones I met spoke very good English so my school-boy French was not required!
