I have stayed at numerous Quality Inns across the United States. This was my favorite. Located right on the Colorado River, eight minutes from Iron Mountain Hot Springs, and five minutes from Glenwood springs mall. Clean large rooms, and friendly easy going staff.

Property was clean, but the beds were not comfortable at all. The mattress were really old and squeaky even when you sit. Light bulbs in the bathroom were dim, and only 2 working out of three. There was coffee machine but no coffee pot to make coffee. Housekeeping was not freindly when asked them for extra towel.

front desk female was not helpful and tone, no eye contact, her and other staff were using profanity. Bathroom towels were dirty, staff member was snapping fingers and yelling at me from inside her car to move from parking spot, staff and other did not make me nor my children feel welcomed by making racial and other slurs and comments in regards to very private and personal information shared by a guest also staying there, I did not feel safe to the point of not being able to go back and not sleeping there or be there the whole day. Mine and my childrens time were not addressed nor acknowledged in any but negative and rude behavior. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO STAY HERE EVER. Their staff need to be taught proper customer service skills, proper customer interaction lessons so NOTHING LIke this happens to ny one ever again! This should be a major concern to the OWNERS of this once beautiful and "second home" hotel I had previously slept peaceful many many times before.

Seemed a little old as far as the building. Front desk just wants to get you checked in. Friendly enough but don't expect any chatting. The view from the room was very nice but that's because of the river so nothing the property did
