Cosy log cabin stay
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the log cabin. Such a beautiful spot for some R&R. The cabin is decked out beautifully and stays wonderfully warm with the fire. We can’t wait to go back and have recommended the place to all our family and friends!

Paradise
Absolutely wonderful and truly a paradise. A beatuiful location on a private area, but very far away from the owners, so it truly feels like you are on your own in the middle of nature. With a beautiful river in front of the cabin where we took our girls to go for a swim. They absolutely adored it. We all loved the place, it was very clean and quiet.

Everything was perfect for a weekend in the country. The clean, comfortable house had everything we needed. There are walking tracks and a river to explore. The host was super nice and helpful.

Off grid log cabin on homestead.
Lovely location adjacent native bush and river that you can opt to ford to access property. Definitely off grid. Many new paths through bush leading to waterfalls and water (swimming) holes.

Amazing setting! Perfect little hideaway in the bush but with it's own clearing and river next to house, and great little walking tracks for hiking the vast property! Lovely hosts and even the animals were friendly!!

Oh wow!
Such a wonderful, secluded spot. Perched high on the bank the sound of the river was lovely. The cabin is gorgeous. Sitting in that big leather chair, in front of the fire with a glass of whiskey after some star gazing, fantastic. Can't wait to come back with the other half. Hosts are lovely, didn't see another soul.

Fantastic cabin
Great log cabin in a rural setting. Very private. Loved being able to swim in the river that runs through the property. Close to Lakes Rotoroa and Rotoiti which made great days out. Wonderful hosts too.

Escape the noise
This log cabin is awesome, private,secluded,quiet and remote in a stunning bush setting overlooking the river. Well appointed, great facilities, friendly hosts. Was a great place to escape and recharge, will definitely be going again.

Peace and Tranquility
This was the best spot ever to unwind. We can't really find words to do this spot justice, but if you want to get back to nature for a bit, this is the place to go. Steve and Tracey were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for sharing this piece of paradise. We hope to get back again as it was just a little cold to try out the swimming holes.

Off grid in a haven of peace
The cabin provides a true off grid experience in a completely private setting away. The owners, Steve and Tracy are not far away if you need them but respect the privacy of the place. You'll need to bring all you need for food and drink, ideally for the duration of your stay, it's a long drive (c 45 mins) for anything! It's a place to chill out, read, play games walk and talk. Enjoy!

Stars in the bush
Excellent place with all we needed. The tracks in the bush and along the stream leading to pools and a waterfall are lovely, having its own swingbridge on the beautifully kept property was a highlight for our two year old daughter. The stars and quiet at night only disturbed by the odd morepork. Helpful, welcoming and considerate hosts.

The perfect getaway
Thank you so much Tracey and Steve for a perfect weekend away. I wish we could have stayed longer. The place was amazing, perfect little log cabin. Feels like you are miles away from anywhere, a little piece of paradise. The deck was great to enjoy, the kitchen was well catered in terms of cutlery/plates/glasses etc, and the shower was excellent! We will definitely be back, for more fishing and walks, thanks so much for your hospitality. Louise and Russ

A great place to get away from it all
Wonderful cosy cabin off the beaten track. Absolutely no connection to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We loved it. Very friendly owners. We would highly recommend Triple Tui for a weekend away.

A little slice of heaven
Triple Tui log cabin is a a treat to stay at. We only spent one night but spent our time exploring the surrounding tracks and walking along the river that runs past the front of the lodge before curing up by the fire for the evening. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for something special with personality. The host Simon is lovely too.

Great stay
A great place to relax and unwind. Love that it is off the grid so no cell phone or internet distractions. Comfortable, clean accommodation with great hosts. Close enough to St Arnaud if you want a trip to the lake, we did a lovely 3 hour walk to the head of the lake and caught the water taxi back then enjoyed pre dinner drinks and nibble on the veranda of the log cabin as the sun set. A perfect day.

Amazing place for nature lovers
We have been there for three nights with our 21 months old son. All of us enjoyed it a lot. Exactly what we wanted, to get away from busy Auckland for a few days. The access to the house is quite unique and exciting, you can either take a short walk from owners place and get there over the rive by using a swing bridge, or if you have 4wd you can drive around the property and cross the river, so you can drive right to the log house. 4wd is not necessary to have, lovely owners can take your stuff on their trucks and bring it for you. It is really remote place and 100% private. Wish we can come back there sometimes in the future.

Fantastic
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Triple Tui, A perfect spot to rewind and enjoy the surroundings. The log cabin was just how we imagined it and Steve was very accommodating and helpful with making our stay all the more better. If you want to stay in a beautiful off the grid wood cabin with beautiful surroundings and switch of from the world this is the one for you.
