Very comfortable stay
The hosts were very kind and helpful, and I had such a comfortable stay. The air con, very comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and outdoor table for eating/ coffee in the am were the highlights.

A Perfect Choice
We loved our 5 days staying here, a warm welcome from hosts and pets greeted us on arrival. The hosts went above and beyond with the many thoughtful extras provided. We immediately felt at home. A sense of the country in a farm cottage, a few minutes drive from town. Would def recommend as an ideal place to stay for a couple. Recommend staying several days to enjoy all the unique Gisborne tourism opportunities. Railbikes, Eagle/Manta Ray feeding, Night Sky Viewing, amazing opportunities not found elsewhere.

Excellent introduction by owners and delightful homemade scones, butter and jam, and other goddies provided, including a bottle of local wine! Extremely well appointed, comfortable, spacious, TV, Sky, and WiFi provided, and an outside spa pool as well. Only there 2 nights but very enjoyable and only 10 mins from town.

Great spot and super comfortable
This accommodation is everything you could want. It has great decor, friendly hosts, plenty of space, beautiful surroundings and is super handy to town. It has multiple options for sitting out, a spa and a country feel, and Diana fills the place with treats and breakfast supplies. I will definitely be back!

Amazing, cute, comfortable!
This little cottage was just a dream. It's surrounded by so many plants that Diane and Andrew planted when they first moved there. When we arrived they asked if we would like any suggestions of where to go and showed us around the property so we wouldn't be lost. We were also greeted with homemade scones, preserves, a bottle of wine and all these other great treats that made us feel right at home. It was, unfortunately raining for a large portion of our trip, but we didn't mind spending time in the cottage and enjoying the hot tub that was there. I had some great conversations with Diane and Andrew and they were just so kind and friendly. We hope their place will be available the next time we go to Gisborne as it truly was such a joy to stay there!

This was a super find. Such a comfortable and spacious unit, very friendly and accommodating hosts and a super, quiet location. Homemade scones on arrival were a real treat, along with all the extra goodies provided. Will definitely book here again when next in Gisborne.

Excellent pre-Christmas stay
We had great stay at Dianna and Andrew’s cottage. The cottage is really comfortable. There is home baked scone, chocolate, cheese, wine, nest cafe capsules, one full bottle of milk, eggs from their hens, washing powder, spa bath, lazy-boy, comfortable bed, beautiful environment, birds, dogs, ships…. When Dianne knew we would go to the local market before we head back to Auckland, she drew a lovely map, and she phoned the local wine maker for us to find out whether he will be in the market. We strongly recommend their nice and comfortable cottage.

Fantastic stay
Dianna and Andrew are lovely hosts. The cottage was spacious and very comfortable and beautifully presented. Lovely peaceful settling with home cooked treats and fresh farm eggs. Spa each night was a real treat. Just a 5 mintue drive into Town but you felt like you were out in the country. Highly recommend.

Delightful cosy stay full of warmth!
A very delightful stay with pleasant surprises! The excellent and generous breakfasts provided over the two days of our stay (including the cheese, fresh eggs, scones, jam and cream) were really unexpected. Laundry facilities were a real bonus!

Spacious property and owners amazing to deal with. Well equipped and had undercover parking which was a bonus as well. Cell phone coverage patchy so had to go down the road . Lovely area to walk and bike. Close to town. Will stay there again

We had a wonderful four nights. Everything was perfect, we enjoyed being in such a beautiful spot in such a gorgeous garden. Dianna and Andrew were very welcoming and great to have a chat with. Super comfy bed and we enjoyed the hot tub. The home baking was a real treat. Would stay again!

A slice of heaven
We arrived late unexpectedly, Dianne still met us and showed us around the property, fantastic welcome and service - probably the most comfortable bed ever. Scones,, jam, fresh whipped cream, wine amongst unexpected bonus treats. Spa pool fantastic. Great chat with them in the morning, met the lovely dogs :) What you do, you do every well. Much aroha!

Perfect Home Away from Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dianna & Andrew's lovely self contained cottage; from the moment we arrived to find an array of home made treats, fresh fruit and eggs, we felt right at home in the relaxed surroundings of semi rural Gisborne. So close to town, but country enough to wake to the sounds of nature, this is an ideal spot to base yourself for a Gisborne getaway.

This was a great place to stay with lots of lovely touches (fresh baking, juice, heat pump on, etc). House had everything you need for a weekend stay, the grounds were beautiful, hot tub was an added bonus. Would stay again!

Loved our stay here, great size for the two of us, and everything had been thought of to make for a comfortable stay. Andrew and Diana were marvellous hosts and supplied numerous yummy food treats and even a bottle of wine. The cottage is located in a beautiful garden surrounded by farm land. The area is quite and backs onto hills and bush. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay.

Beautiful cottage in great location
Dianna and Andrew’s lovely cottage is beautifully decorated, spacious and wonderfully equipped. It has the best of both worlds situated on a rural property with delightful garden and trees and close to village with cafes etc. We loved exploring Gisborne and further north and were grateful for our hosts tips plus enthusiasm for the area. Thank you for so many extras - delish scones and fresh fruit were lovely. We’d love to return.

Dianna & Andrew were very welcoming and provided many little extras - scones with homemade jam and cream, cheese & crackers, fresh eggs and fruit, ginger crunch ... all just so delicious and much appreciated. The bedroom is huge and the bed wonderfully comfortable, the living area has lazyboy chairs and the kitchen was very well equipped. We used a heatpump one evening as the weather turned rather wintery. We thoroughly recommend this cottage and would certainly choose it again for a Gisborne stay. Thanks so much Dianna and Andrew.
