Great place to stay passing through Gila Bend. The free breakfast was a full hot breakfast and was available to guests every morning. The Space theme was charming and the rooms were. Very clean. Only complaint I would have is that the rooms were not very insulated because I could hear everything outside. Earplugs helped me deal with that though. Overall, I would stay again.

Friendly staff. Great service. Unfortunately had a giant cricket and mosquito in our room when we first opened the door, but after fixing that issue the room was very spacious and definitely looks like it’s newly renovated. Awesome to be able to park right next to our door. Can’t wait for breakfast in the morning!

Right on the main road we heard cars loud all night plus it’s near train tracks so we got to hear 2 trains during the night. Nice hotel and friendly staff but if you want to sleep this definitely isn’t the place to stay.

Pricey - Nicest Place in Gila Bending
Of the few hotels in Gila Bend this is clearly the nicest place. It’s very pricey and anywhere else it’d be a value at, maybe, $110/night. One advantage is there are two free breakfasts cooked to order, based on a choice of about six meals. An advantage is it’s a motor hotel and it’s easy to unload and load. Overall, I think it’s too pricey for the value, yet considering a breakfast value of $20.00 (for two) it’s probably okay, yet still not worth the price of $170/night. Note, I’ve not stayed in the other places.

Clean, all on one level, and a great breakfast at the restaurant next door, which was included in our pricing. A great overnight if are traveling further the next day.

Worth staying here
Lovely clean room. Big bath! We were very pleased we’d booked to stay here. Potentially could be noisy with the railway one side and the road on the other but we didn’t get bothered by any noise in the night at all. Breakfast in the restaurant next door was good.

Hotel woes!!!
My family had an overnight stay because we heard good things about the hotel but we were really, really disappointed at the customer service and the room. When I walked into the check in area the clerk(Michael) took about 3 minutes to acknowledge me, although there was no one else there. He did not look up, say hello or smile!! He shoved a piece of paper at me and said sign and date, gave me the room key and that was it……all this without looking at me or saying anything else, I was too tired to argue or look for another hotel as it was late so we just stayed. Upon entering the room, it looked okay but about 10 minutes later my 10 year old granddaughter started screaming because she saw a bug crawling on the floor. When we started looking closely at the floor there were bugs everywhere. We killed as many as we could but I think they kept crawling underneath the door. My poor granddaughter was so scared to go to sleep. There was hair on the bathroom floor and the bathtub was very slow to drain, taking 3 showers had the tub almost overflowing. After a restless night, we checked out as soon as the sun was up. We were so disappointed at everything overall. This is a hotel that will never see our business again and as far as the night clerk, he should be fired. My assumption is he was extremely unprofessional and rude. Could it be because my skin was brown and his was not……..100 percent YES! We would like a refund for this stay! Suzanne Adams

Space Lodge
The Staff were very attentive and professional. There was a minor issue brought up to the staff for which they apologized and provided a partial refund on the stay. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding and the service was awesome. I would highly recommend staying here. The uniqueness of the hotel is very nice.

We booked a little weekend retreat to get away from everything and do some computer work and was totally not expecting what we got!! This was the cleanest, best smelling, nicest staffed Hotel I have been to in a LONG time. The cleanliness of the room, was smelt as soon as you stepped foot through the door. The staff was consistently cleaning the grounds and there was no trash around, The pool area was immaculate! Water was nice and clean, jacuzzi was well kept, everything functioned and worked, and the bed. Let me tell you about the comfort level of the bed!!! I slept like a baby, not to firm, not too soft, with perfect amount of plush pillows. A/C unit worked well. No upstairs units. and parked right in front of my hotel room without any issues. Close by is a Tesla Charger as well for EV charging. The staff was always available, and so nice. Anything you need they are right there and on top of it. With a smile!! They give you a coupon to dine in for breakfast everyday with your stay also! The food was amazing, we had breakfast and dinner as well. Kids loved the pool, overall EXTREAMLY impressed with my stay. The remodel of this place should have included dual-pane windows as the trucks do not take the night off. The soundproofing between rooms is non-existent as the next door neighbor snored and sounded way too close for comfort. I did not see a mention of the train tracks that hide behind the motel. The trains are long and loud. The conductor kindly does not use the horn during the night but starts up in the morning, so don't plan on sleeping late. The dinner at the restaurant was awful (the gravy was more like glue, the vegetables looked like they had been simmering all day). The breakfast at the same restaurant, included with the room, was limited in choice but at least tasted like breakfast should.

The outside of the hotel looks totally Kitchy with the alien stuff, Inside it was all about space travel, rockets, the shuttles, etc., not whimsical. The hotel was incredibly clean and well cared for. Our stay was enjoyable and the warm breakfast at the attached restaurant was great.

Nice property. Pricey and the.king bed in room should be replaced it had a huge dip spot in middle of mattress which made it to where me and my spouse kept falling into the dip and we were practically on top of each other.
