Needed somewhere to stay o/n on way home from the northwest before continuing to Perth - this worked out great, easy afterhours check-in and out, room was simple but comfortable. Heaps of safe parking for trailer.

The property is an ex-wellness centre, so is not necessarily set out like most motels. All accommodation in the main building is upstairs with no lift (not the best for BIG bags) although not too much of an issue. The buildings at the far end of the set up appear unused and run down but theres really no reasons to go there. Large communal lounge and kitchen were good, pool area nice. Very good location and would definitely stay again.

it was quite acceptable and good value for money. it was nice and roomy. I hate Dona's. Give me blankets any day! they are too hot and without it the bare sheet is too cool!

I’ve stayed in motels all over Australia over 30 years and this one was by far the worst. My first room had a broken TV so I was moved to another room - from 19 to 17. Both these rooms were the size of a maximum security prison cell, but with smaller windows. The room was in very poor condition and in desperate need of an update. The bed was old and worn out, and sagged in the middle. It was awful and I didn’t sleep at all. The aircon was brand new however. If you’re a traveller, I say to you to stay away from Sails at all costs. To the owners I say that you shouldn’t be putting people up in the rooms I was in - they’re not fit for people to stay in.

The air freshener that was in the room or being pumped via airconditioning was terrible. I got terrible sinus and had to get up and go out to get stuff from my car at almost midnight. I then had to sleep with a surgical mask with Vicks in it. I'm expecting to get a sinus infection from this stay and that will cost me money and impact the rest of my holiday. If anyone had asthma I expect they would have been hospitalised. Not ok
