The booking was messed up when lastminute.co.nz didn't forward the payment to the hotel for the booking, which meant I had to pay again when I arrived. It then took me an hour on the phone being passed from person to person on an overseas call centre run by lastminute.co.nz to try to get a refund for the double payment but they told me they don't give refunds, only credits. So now I have a credit. It was made worse because the hotel staff then told lastminute.co.nz that I was a 'no show' at the hotel, even though I had already checked in to my accomodation with them, ie some staff knew what was going on and others didn't, but didn't check their facts. Apart from that, the room was fine, clean etc and I think good value for money for a very basic bed-for-the-night.
