"In fairness it was overnight change over for trains . 5 minutes walk from station and a late evening arrival for us so it was ok . Greeted nicely upon arrival , lift to room , room was ok , tired , bed mattress soft and pillow pods set up .. but we were tired , and slept really well .. so a decent stop over . No real downside . VFM near station … "

"Annemasse is perfect to stay close to Geneva, but paying so much less for accomodation and food than in Switzerland. This is right at the border of France and Switzerland but you don’t notice it when crossing. Few minutes walk to the train station. Trains to Geneva every 10-15 mins or less until very late at night.
